Quality
I have used the lure several times now. I have had some hits but havent caught anything yet. But in the lures defense, the water I fish in is well stocked and Pike have the ablility to be picky. Also by the time I bought the lure, spring was over. Ive used it only in June so far. I cant wait for fall to see if Pike hit better on it then. The lure cast well, it is heavy. It works great in the water. Trolling/cast and retrieve both work well. It looks like a duck for sure. I do have one spinner that gets hung up once in a while, but other than that its good. Fishing pliers with the bent tip is a must for assembly.

Well. Might work in Michigan at night catching Walley or Pike. But Indiana. Nothing yet.

Looks cool but no results
After spending 1 week at a cabin where we focused on muskies, two of us used this and never got a strike. Not just from muskies, we couldn't interest pike or bass, either.It casts fine, it makes a lot of noise, it even looks nice when you hold it. It just doesn't bedazzle any of the fish.

Can't go wrong with savage gear, awesome brand, will buy for life. Even if the fish aren't biting, at least it's entertaining to use. Heavy lure, make sure you have a heavy rod to support it.NikkiWisconsin
