Be careful with this one if you live in a warm climate.
After trying to make this radiator work for over a year I have given up and removed it. I bought this in May of 2017 for my 79' F100 truck with a 351m engine. I thought 'four core will be the absolute best radiator I could find.' The good: it is all tig welded and doesn't leak. The bad: the mounting holes had to be elongated, the hoses didn't fit well as in not exact location as the original, neither did the trans cooler. No problem. A little massaging and I made it fit. However, the fan shroud did not fit well near the upper hose and eventually the shroud broke and had to be replaced. This summer, as temps started to rise, I noticed at idle the temp would creep well over 210-220 degrees and I would have to shut the truck off. (Last Fall I installed some really nice gauges so I could get accurate readings on engine performance. So, I'm not using dummy gauges on the dash and confirmed my gauges with an infrared thermometer). I tried different timing settings, different coolant (50/50 and straight), different idle speed settings, all to no avail. New fan clutch. Nothing. I tried three different straight fans and varying spacers. No improvement. I'm a former ASE master technician and at my wits end. The more I studied I began to realize that the four core radiator is just too restrictive of airflow at idle. This radiator is made with old-school technology meaning the same 1/2' tubes that copper/brass cores used to have. So, as an experiment, I ordered a basic aluminum one core (modern 1 1/4" core tubes) with plastic tanks from a local auto parts store for about half the price of this radiator. Bolted in exactly. Fan shroud fit perfect. Hoses fit exactly. Just road tested it and I could not get it over 200 degrees idling in gear in 92 degree heat in North Carolina with the A/C on max (sat for over eight minutes in direct sun). Moreover, the A/C cools better now. Previously I could never get vent temps better than 50-52 degrees at idle. Now, 34.4 degrees (infrared). I also noticed that because the four core unit is an inch thicker than the original radiator, the clutch fan sits too deep into the shroud instead of half in, half out, which is necessary for maximum efficiency. I loved the look of the Prime Cooling radiator but it simply doesn't perform for me in summertime heat while running the A/C. With a straight fan properly set up and at highway speeds it would run at a cool 180 degrees. But at idle in hot traffic, it would exceed 200 degrees in less than a minute and a half. I hope this helps you.

Beautiful radiator
It was just what I needed to replace my old one I’m not done putting it in yet so I hope it cools my cooling problem

FIT FINE IN MY 74 F250 390 4 SPD
It didn't fit exactly like my hem radiator, I had to mount it slightly different, but there were holes pre drilled that matched up.to use my oem fan shroud I had to wallow out the holes to make it fit perfect, but it would likely be fine had I not slotted them for adjustment.I could take or leave the supplied radiator cap. It looked like it would be fine, but it was a 19lb cap and I wanted to run a lower psi one. It is designed to work with the classic design cap of the era.the location of the radiator is 100% where the gem one was, just a little bit thicker. it is not close to any interference with the fan

Perfect Fit
This went into a '79 Bronco and it went in w/o any modifying.4 row makes a big difference in cooling, especially idling through the woods in the southeast during summer.A good looking radiator too.Im very happy with my purchase.Been using it for a few months now.

great product
having a problem finding a correct upper hose, outlet is larger than oem part

Beautiful radiator
So far it's just been installed.. successfully. Dropped right in, I had to saw off an inch for my after market ac line to fit properly but that's not a big deal at all. I will review the performance of it here in a few days because the factory shroud didn't quiet for I had to order another one from Jeff's Bronco graveyard. So far it looks great in the hole though. I hope it performs as good as it looks

It fits really well in my 1972 f250.
Like the fit, but the detail of item is not the best. The mounting brackets were not on straight, and both were bent. First one was really bad had to send back, second one wasnt perfect, but it worked. Boxes werent damaged so had to be done before packaged. Otherwise it fits and doesnt leak so far.

Decent quality
Was a little bit warped when it showed up, but it bolted up just fine. Your core support will need to be cut out if you have a 6 cylinder

Very well made!
The welding is very clean and should last a very long time in the -30 to -40 cold in my area.
