CastrolTransmax ATF/CVT Universal Automatic Transmission Fluid, 1 Gallon

I did a drain and fill on my 2010 Subaru Outback cvt. I was worried about using this stuff because there was little feedback for people filling Subaru CVT's with this product. Valvoline is over $10/ qt. I need about 6-7 quarts and it would have been very expensive to change my fluid. Everyone online recommended the overpriced oem stuff (usually expensive repackaging of cheaper stuff). This Castrol stuff worked fantastic even mixed with tye old stuff. My car drives very smooth and no odd behavior or sounds from the CVT. It's a good product at a fraction of the cost of other brands.

Working perfectly on my 2014 Mazda 3. To do a good number of drain and fills would have cost me around 300 dollars in Mazda oem. Love Castrol.

Took care of the CVT whine on used car I bought. Going strong for two years and one drain/fill each year.

Got an 85 LeBaron a year ago that was having some awful shifting issues. Drained the old fluid, new pan filter and this fluid and I was back in business. Shifts great and has held up 6+ months later. Great price!

I've ran this fluid going on for 3 years now, and my transmission has been doing well. I do partial change at least once a year, as I usually drive out of state and want to keep the fluid fresh. Is it excessive? Probably, but fluid change is cheaper than a replacement transmission.

Used in my toyota tundra 2nd gen, I changed it because I noticed on the freeway when open throttle. The transmission would hesitate followed by a hard thump. Like the transmission was going out. I ordered this the same day at midnight and it arrived the same day at 11am. I quickly emptied the transmission pan, I got out about 4.5 it's topped it off. Than checked the level in idle at trans temp 115deg F. The topped it off again. I drove it around and did a few open throttle hard/heavy pulls. The transmission to my surprise shift better than I can remember. No hesitation just creamy buttery shifts so soft it felt like nothing. Castrol is definitely my go to transmission fluid. Very impressed with this lube.
