P.F. Chang's Home Menu Salad Dressing, Creamy Sesame 16 fl oz.

I like this dressing once in awhile. It tastes really good when serving salads with asian dishes, including thai curries. We usually make a salad with an asian dish so it goes well with my salad-main dish combinations. It is a little overpriced but worth having around for that special dish, once a week or so. The taste is tangy, not so oily and has a good quality taste.

I gave it a 4 because flavor is good, but very weak...not like at the restaurants. I don't think I will be purchasing again.

I was expecting a nice bright toasted sesame flavor, but what I got was basically a bottle of thinned out mayo with the sort of heaviness that using too much sesame can sometimes cause, but without any discernible sesame flavor. I found that a little toasted sesame oil added to this makes it's taste so much nicer. Some mirin and a bit of an acid like lime juice makes it even better. I used this as a base dressing for a salad I made and it was much better once I zhuzhed it up! It's also quite salty, so if you add even a tiny amount of soy sauce (which it seems to beg for), the flavor becomes way too salty! In the future I probably won't be buying this again. I will probably end up using something like Japanese mayo as the base and building up from there. I hope this was helpful

Best Asian dressing I've goind

I know it's silly to get excited about a salad dressing but this is seriously the best I've ever had since Ken's Roasted Sesame was discontinued! Low sugar, savory, no overbearing ginger or citrus taste like all others. I've already bought 3 this month. Add this to your fave lettuce and/or broccoli slaw mix, roasted chicken strips, almond slivers and wonton strips and you have a super easy yet delicious salad!
