My mother and I got this for my sister.She was very happy to get it and is going to be keeping it in pristine condition. It's not leaving the inner box and the outer box has been kept.Bigger then the pictures make you think it is.

First of all, can I just say how impressive this Mickey and Minnie plush set is? I know it was intended for collectors, but holy cow, I was completely floored at the quality—including the packaging. Amazon took so much care in honoring the fact this is a collectible: not only did they ship it in an Amazon product box to protect the product cardboard box since it’s part of the packaging (it looks like a “crate”—very “Disney” and super cute), but the item itself is wrapped in tissue paper to protect the display box from scratching when you remove the item from the box. If you’re a hardcore collector, I’m sure you’d appreciate the effort.If the unboxing experience wasn’t impressive enough (that was the first time I ever wished that I recorded an unboxing, lol!) the toys themselves are super impressive! They are so much bigger than I imagined, and the quality of the way Mickey and Minnie were crafted are just so well executed! The materials are comprised of different textiles and textures (felt for the body, linen for the face, embroidered eyes) and I love how the gloves and shoes look like leather!I bought this since it was a good price, with the intention of giving it to my 3 year nephew—he’s totally obsessed with the Runaway Railway ride at Disneyland and can re-inact the scenes with these dolls…But looks like he’s getting something else because auntie’s keeping this for herself😂UPDATE: I couldn’t help myself and opened the actual box.Upon close observation of the dolls, I did notice an ear on the Mickey was not as flat and a loose thread on the face but other than that, the quality is still excellent.While the box is great for presentation and gives a wonderful gifting experience, I think the thing I didn’t realize (I guess I was too “wowed” by the product at first) is the fact it is a lot of packaging and it’s HUGE—if you don’t have a lot of room, it might be a problem to display. I’m likely going to leave the dolls out of the package and I’m kind wondering what to do with all of the packaging since I don’t want to throw it all away because it’s just that nice. In fact, I felt a little guilty opening the box because the packaging was that nice.Although I had to constantly remind myself that I did not intend to keep the doll set as a collectors item, at the end of the day, I did buy this because it makes me HAPPY (sorry nephew😜) and sometimes you gotta live life and ENJOY your stuff instead of just keeping things in a box. And yes, I still reserve the right as an adult to hug something cute and fun every once in awhile.
