Had to replace an old, damaged pool net. I was apprehensive about spending the money on this pool net as other nets were less expensive. The lifetime warranty convinced me to try it, and also knowing Amazon has a top north return policy in case this net was less than expected.I unpackaged this upon arrival and this was just built different. It had a metal frame which had plastic covering it, and replaceable components and seemed to be built like a tank, obviously without the weight. The net zips off and can be replaced when torn. I’ve never seen a pool net with this ability before now. The net seems very strong, heavy duty and durable while still catching everything I try to skim. This seems like a great net. Well made. Quality product!

I originally purchased this net about 6 years ago for my FL in-ground pool. I've used it about twice per month to scoop up larger debris like Palm fronds before setting my robot vacuum loose.The net worked fine, but the plastic rim eventually cracked and it completely fell apart about a week ago. Looking to buy a replacement, I checked my order history here to see what I bought. I was happy to "rediscover" that my net had a lifetime warranty!Better yet, the warranty service is actually as easy as stated. I used the warranty link on the ProTuff website, entered my Amazon order # and my address, and that was all I needed to do. It really did take about 2 minutes. I got an email saying a replacement would be sent out shortly.My new pool net arrived 3 days later. And I was VERY happy to see that it's been improved. Most importantly, the plastic rim is thicker and much sturdier. The net seems a bit sturdier too, and it has a zipper for easy replacement. The plastic rim can also be removed and replaced separately (unlike my first net), which all makes sense for more cost-effective warranty service.This net requires a bit of easy assembly. Just remove the 2 zip ties holding the frame tight, attach the bracket (2 sides and a sleeve fit over the ends of the metal frame, then 3 screws to secure), and it's ready to use. NOTE: Don't cut the zip ties; they are reusable, with a small nub that releases the strip when pushed. A few extra ones are provided too (just for personal use), and I will be using them for luggage, etc.The new net works fine, and seems a bit smoother than my original. This could be due to the thicker, wider plastic rim. I'm pretty sure it will last longer than my first one, and the real lifetime warranty means I won't need to buy a new one down the road.For quality, sturdiness, and warranty, this net is definitely a great deal compared to the cheaper nets I looked at. Highly recommended.

ProTuff stands behind it's products. They replaced my old ProTuff pool net left by the previous home owner that developed holes. Existing pool net is good quality and has lasted 5 years in the sun. I can easily pick up both floating and bottom debris and it is large enough to get the job done quickly. Would have been pleased to replace the old net and keep it, but the design has been improved (new parts don't fit the old one). The new pool net is a nicer, stronger unit. Buy a ProTuff, it's the last pool net you'll ever need.

This is a fantastic product. I bought this skimmer net over 6 years ago for home use. The net finally disintegrated last week, which is exceptional longevity for such a product in the Arizona sun. I had registered the original purchase, so I went back to the Manufacturer's website and requested a replacement. It was very easy to do, and a replacement was at my door within 3 days!Now the new product is different, but it looks like they have made some substantial design improvements on what was already a very good platform. Kudos to the engineers who designed it! It seems to be even more robust than the original.I am super happy with this product. If you need a good quality skimmer net, this is the one!
