My wife saw this on Amazon and thought it would brighton up the laundry room. Both the washer and dryer are blue like the sign. When people come over they remark on the sign and ask where we got it.

This sign is just what I was looking for to add a bit of cuteness and whimsy to my laundry room. The size (20" Wide), shape and color are perfect for the space I wanted to put it in. It is lightweight, yet sturdy. I opted to hang it with picture hanging wire to make it super easy to hang.

We are finishing up a laundry room addition, and before the walls were even up I began my online search for a laundry room sign. So many to look at online, but most had silly messages, and what I wanted was classy but old fashioned. Amazon had it for the best price even though I saw it with other online companies. Delivery is always best with Amazon anyway!The sign feels thick as the real metal signs of a by gone era, and the edges have the "rusted look" that makes it appear old. I was not sure if I would like the blue background, but it grows on me. It is a dark blue, and appears warmer looking than a pure black sign., It is a large sign, so it stands out very nicely. I don not have it hanging yet, as our addition is not finished . For people who like nostalgic then you will more than likely be happy with this sign. The old fashioned lettering and graphic detail is just beautiful. I can't wait to have it hanging above the washer and dryer in the near future.
