Multiple Grammy nominee Martina McBride has sold over 18 million albums to date, including twenty Top 10 singles and six #1 hits. McBride has earned more than fifteen major music awards, including four wins for the CMA Female Vocalist of the Year and three ACM Top Female Vocalist. Martina has been awarded fourteen Gold Records, nine Platinum honors, three Double Platinum Records, and two Triple Platinum Awards. Her highly anticipated new album, Reckless, will be released by Nash Icon Records. Review: Good album that Martina's fans will surely enjoy - It's a good album from Martina McBride that will be enjoyed by her fans (like me). She is in fine singing form, though many of the songs, while perfectly fine pop/country songs, are pretty ordinary, though pleasantly enough they are written for grown-ups. My two favorite songs are "It Ain't Pretty," a narrative about a woman getting over a broken romance by going out on a Saturday night, and "You and You Alone" which is just Martina and a piano, showcasing her beautiful voice and considerable singing skill. I'm a glad that Martina avoided overly sappy/maudlin songs, and I also appreciate the understated production values which allow Martina's voice to shine through. Regarding some other issues: The CD box was shattered when I received it, so I will have to find another box. And the art? Martina has the loveliest blue eyes that you'll ever see, yet in most of the photos her eyes are hidden. Review: Martina McBride is on vinyl--great sound from an amazing singer - I'm a vinyl lover and I am thrilled that Martina's "Reckless" was released on vinyl. It sounds great! Another great set from an amazing singer, and as usual, a top notch production. Dann Huff and company have turned out another excellent release. "Reckless" is a great tune, and another great track is "Tha'ts The Think About Love." The backup vocalists are great and add to this song a lot. After I received this record from desertcart, the next day I bought one of Martina's earlier records called "Everlasting" on vinyl. Another great record and I'm so glad it was released on vinyl.

Love Martina's New Album, "Reckless."
Glad to see Martina came back with new music that is reminiscent of her previous style that made her so famous. Love her voice. Tracks, such as "Reckless", "Just Around the Corner" and her cover of O.A.R's "We'll Pick Up, Where We Left Off", are great. I hope she continues to record new music, as her voice and music style just seem to work together flawlessly. I've been a huge fan of her music since her debut album in 1992, which was a great album. Some of her other albums from the late 90's and early 2000's are very good too, and this new album is kind of bringing her back full circle.

Timeless, you just want to get up and dance
Timeless ... Martina McBride still has the voice, the diction, the rhythm, the story telling in her music. You want to get up and dance listening to it. Enjoyable listening, so glad she is still performing. A lasting star in comparison to some of what is being "belted out" with poor diction and loud backgrounds by some of the so-called stars today.

Mindestens 5 Sterne!

A very good CD with a couple of good small cameo's from other country stars which seems to be the trend now. When she doesn't over fill her releases with god bothering, her music is very, very good, and anyway, you cannot fault her vocal talents. She seems to have developed the same talent which Faith Hill had of removing the twang from her voice or applying it more depending on the occassion, to the point that you aren't sure whether the southern twang is the added bit or the removed bit if you get my meaning.
