I have not had an issue at all with these falling out, on the contrary they sometimes push in too far. Have to use needle nose pliers to pull little tab back out. Even with that I still like them. Wish I could find something like this for some of the other covers! USB-A and C looking at you! Yes I would recommend these, especially for my road warrior traveling types and those who toss their laptops into diaper bags! D

I have a decent home theater system using a Marantz 8802A processor. I primarily use the XLR ports, so I have my RCA ports capped with silicone lined brass plugs. What little XLR ports that are unused are capped with silicone lined caps as well. Since I only use two of the HDMI ports, these HDMI plugs did the trick. The cool thing is, you can use these on any device with unused HDMI ports that may collect dust.

These are tiny and do what they should, however I feel they are overpriced.

I don't know how important it is to keep dust out of the extra HDMI ports but they are high speed data transfer ports so I cover them. They fit the ports and stay in place.

It does the job, but not a good design, it's flexible rubber and small enough that it gets shoved inside the port itself. Then you need a pair of pliers or tweezers in order to pull it back out.

I like a neat installation with no open sockets. These plugs worked perfectly.

Works great for what I really need it for

Good - fits flush and covers the HDMI port from dust. Not so good - you have to make sure not to push down too hard or it will compress and go further than designed and you will need a small pair of needle nose pliers to pull it out.

Easy to use & great for HDMI ports that don't get much use.

I was able to plug a hdmi port in the garage to make it dust proof.

These are not standard HDMI size. They are mini. Will not work if you need a standard size HDMI.
