Crimp Ferrule problem
The ferrule is thicker than those on high quality connectors such as Amphenol types. Using a die crimper it required me to use a heavy clamp on the crimper handles to fully compress the die rather than hand pressure.

Collars too large
The crimp collars are slightly too large for the LMR400 coax cable. The LMR 400 crimp tool die cannot squeeze these tight enough to secure to the coax cable. You can easily pull off the male N connector after crimping. I cannot recommend them.

Likes it so much, I ordered more.
Crimp connectors are the way to go. Like so many I soldered hundred of connectors over the years. Now, with arthritis in my hands, I bought a crimp kit. The problem was the cost of the connectors until now. These are reasonably priced, work well and are well made. I will keep ordering these as long as they are available and the price is right...

Appears to be good quality
Had no problem with installation and have been in use for several months, only running 100 watts on 12/17 meters.
