Great camera for the money
I have been a Nikon SLR since the early 1980s. I started with a Nikon FM, then F2 and finally the autofocus F2 and N8080 . I switched to digital in 2009 by getting a D3000 and getting a D7000 two years later. I loved the fact that I could use all my existng Nikkor lenses. I love the D7000. I decided I wanted and updated camera and was waffling between the D7500 and D7200. I ended up with the D7200 because of the higher megapixel images and having 2 SD card slots compared to 1 SD card slot in the D7500. I rarely do any video so that 1080 video with the D7200 is more than fine for my needs as compared to 4K videos that can be made with the D7500.When the camera arrived and I unpacked it, it looked absolutely new. Of course, I had to try it out immediately. It works like a champ. The photos are beautiful and the camera works perfectly. It had 1101 shutter actuations on it, which much lower than I expected. If you're upgrading from a D7000 or D7100, the D7200 uses the same battery as the D7000 or D7100.I have included a photo that I took with my new D7200 with the Nikkor AF f/1.8 85mm lens and used the onboard flash. I am very happy with the results. Just a note, the lens I used was originally purchased for use with the F4 35-mm film camera. So, if you wonder whether you can use the older AF lenses, yes you can.

Good price and low clicks
First thing I did was check actuations, it had 1865. Totally happy with that. Good condition and everything seems to perform as should. I have two others that have a lot of miles on them and was only getting worried that one would drop dead soon. D7200 is my preferred crop sensor body. I have one with 151K clicks and one with 102K clicks.

Camera stopped working.
I bought this camera for my sister in law. After a few months stop working, She only used twice in a birthday party just too try it out. because she was still learning how to use that model. Now, Its says there is a error on the display.I know is months later, but I only got the amazon account working again, and I am from Brazil. We took it to a repair shop its says its brand new, they don't know why it stop working. Even though we didn't let them open.I don't know what to do because we live in Brazil, and we are without hope. Its a very good camera and it costed a lot of money. We feel like money down the drain. Can you help, even just fixing it?

Much better clarity when viewed on my iMac 27" screen than ...
Only had this refurbished 7200 for a couple of weeks that replaced my Nikon D-70, but many of the controls are similar so learning curve not so steep.Much better clarity when viewed on my iMac 27" screen than the D-70.Like the better low light ability indoors, improvement in rapid shooting, and obvious major increase in resolution.Works really well with my Tamron 16-300 telephoto lens, a great combination.Too bad camera makers don't take the trouble to offer better documentation on the use of the numerous settings and controls. Had to resort to UTube for some videos for help. Without prior experience with my D70, I might find this camera just too complicated. For those who are interested in great shots, but are not pros or really serious photographers, the automatic settings work exceptionally well. The Scene setting takes the place of my D-70's "Auto" setting for my travel pictures. Fantastic definition, great color, no distortion, makes the need to use all the optional settings unnecessary, but those who want to control all of the elements have that choice. Very fast autofocusing, low light ability, very high resolution make this a great camera, both the serious and casual photographers.

Best DX format for the price.
Absolutely great. Came to me clean, and very low shudder count. The camera itself is awesome, very clear photos combined with the right lenses. One of the best DX Nikon's I have owned.

Couldn't Tell From New-Shipping method risky
Couldn't tell from new. This body was spotless. Don't know if they reset the counter to zero when they 'refurbished' it, but It looks like new. The counter started at zero as my first frame was 0001. The only was I could assume that it was not a new body is the way it was packaged. A bit disappointed in that. Wrapped in bubble wrap and in a generic box with only basic needs, neck strap, battery, and charger. No manual. Manual downloadable from Nikon's website and Amazon has several good books on the camera's use.The body itself is nearly identical to the older D7100, controls are in the identical arrangement. Even the rubber 'bootie' I put on the D7100 fits perfectly. The biggest improvement that I see is it's low-light performance. It also has a much larger buffer than the D7100, 100 frames. It is substantially better in low light than the older body. One nice thing in the viewfinder is the 'A/E lock' indicator near the 'In focus' indicator dot. If all refurbs are as well-serviced as this, I would not hesitate in recommending this to another looking for a D7200 body at a good price. It is substantially better in several areas than the older D7100.My problem is the way it was shipped. USPS and not secure UPS with required signature for delivery. Item was just dropped off at my house under the mailbox where anyone walking by could see it and run off with it. This for an item of $800 value! This is the third item of substantial value recently purchased through Amazon delivered in this way, two via USPs and the other, a 49" TV via UPS. 5 Stars for item, 2 stars for delivery method. Amazon, you must do better with high priced items. Drop-offs are not acceptable for high priced items. Thefts of such deliveries is becoming a real problem, nationally.
