Poor quality. Seems to be rebuilt. Armature bent on third use.
First one ordered never arrived. Ordered another. Received and looked ok. Installed on 2016 troybilt mower and cut lawn twice. Tried to start it for third cutting and it tried and then locked up. On inspection, the armature was bent and plastic cap hanging sideways. On inspection of inside of starter motor it appears to have been a rebuilt one. Do not recommend.

Perfect fit
This was a perfect fit for my craftsman 6500 riding lawnmower. The installation took about 15 minutes and saved me hundreds of dollars by not hiring a repair man.

Did not work even a month
The part for my riding mower did not work for even a month after receiving and getting it mounted on. I did not anticipate it quitting on the second time of using my mower. I was willing and expecting to have the part for a much longer period than what it lasted. Unfortunately, the 30 day return period was past, but I would like either a replacement that works correctly or a refund to the account used to buy this one. And, Iâll definitely be glad to return this one. Thank you, in advance

So much cheaper than one from Cub Cadet
It's a starter motor.... does what it's supposed to do. Cheaper than one from Cub Cadet. Save even more by doing the repair yourself. Easy installation for a DIYer with a simple wrench. Just watch a YouTube video on how to do it.
