Next best thing to a professional ear cleaning
Awesome kit! This has everything you need to clean your ears, even if you have heavy wax build up. It's the next best thing to a professional ear cleaning. It's also smart to use this as maintenance between professional cleanings because it can reduce or eliminate any discomfort you might otherwise feel during the professional job.I would recommend this kit over the other NeilMed one that doesn't include the spray canister and ear wax removal tool. The tool does a great job grabbing and twisting out even the most stubborn wax clumps (just be sure to ease it in gently and twist a little bit at a time, being sure not to go too deep and cleaning it out often). If for some reason you don't like the spray can to flush out your ears, or you run out, this kit includes the refillable water bulb from the other kit as a bonus. That way, you're not left high and dry (pardon the pun) if you misjudge how much spray is left.Note: To help you know when to reorder, each can gives you six 10 second sprays before running out. This gives you three treatments in both ears. You might be able to get one more treatment if you're stingy on the spray duration. The directions recommend one 10 second spray per ear to flush them out.As for the ear wax dissolving drops, the bottle will provide a lot more more treatments than just six.How often do you need to use it? That's subjective. Anything from once a week for heavy wax build up to every 2-3 weeks for lighter build up.If you already have heavy wax build up for months or years, this kit may not be enough to clear it completely. You may need to do a professional cleaning first, then use this for maintenance between cleanings.

It works well
Two of my clients needed their ears glasses and this did it just as well as at the doctors.

Great Product
NeilMed worked exactly as described. Easy to use; clear instructions with great results.

How about clear directions?
The product may work but the box was filled with promotional material for a panoply of other NeilMed products and no clear directions for using the one I bought. Here are two ideas: First, show clear directions with images for things like the "drainage collection cup." Second, don't include a 30 page book promoting everything Dr. Mehta and Nina Mehta have ever thought of. It has a snake oil vibe.

Easy to use
Pediatrician recommended that we use earwax dissolving drops for my 4 and 5 year old kiddos. Ask your pediatrician if you plan to use for children under 12 since product is not recommended for kids under 12.I got this kit since it has the earwax softening drops as well as the saline flush. The drops are the usual carbamide peroxide that is the active ingredient for most earwax softening products. The kit also comes with a saline ear rinse that works to flush out the loosened chunks of wax.The kit works well to soften and flush the wax out and the drainage collection cup keeps the kids dry and mess free. The bonus ear spin safe tool is helps getting out wax that is near the opening of the ear canal prior to flushing with the saline rinse. In my opinion, this kit works better than just using the carbamide peroxide drops by themselves.

Product didn't work, drainage collector useless, earplugs too big
The whole system was useless. The drops did absolutely nothing to removeor break-up earwax. The drainage collection cup wouldn't stay on the saline canister and collected nothing. It is easier to just use a washcloth and hold it onto your face to keep "drainage" solution from flowing all over face & neck. The tip of the canister which the spray that you insert into your ear would not stay on either. The canister contained one use (2 ten second bursts: 1 for each ear) only. The blue wax remover tool is simply a 3" long piece of hard bumpy plastic that is extremely uncomfortable & painful to put into ears and removed absolutely nothing. Q-tips work better. The earplugs are quite large and because of that the suction created from the vacuum was so strong that I had to have someone's help using a tool to break the seal and remove it out of my ear as when I tried to do it by myself it was extremely painful & wouldn't budge due to the intense vacuum seal. BIG THUMBS DOWN. Nothing worked effectively to clean wax buildup from ears.

Works amazing
Tried a lot of different products for my child, including prescription drops from the pediatrician, and one of those ear camera things. The flexible silicon flush bulb in this kit worked like magic. There's a ton of other things that come with it that we didn't even try.
