Incase ICON Sleeve with TENSAERLITE for MacBook Air 13"

I never thought I’d be this happy for a laptop sleeve. The InCase ICON Sleeve with TENSAERLITE is a sleek piece of apparatus that protects the MacBook Air 13.3 from scratches and drops. It features foam padding on the interior along with rubberized synthetic material on the exterior that encompasses the perimeter of the MacBook Air, ensuring protection of all four corners of the device (a feature that is surely lacking from most other sleeves).I was a bit hesitant when purchasing this sleeve as many said that it will not fit, if you have a hard shell case on your device. I have a hard shell case on my MacBook Air and taking it off is not an option. I am relieved and proud to say that my 13.3 MacBook Air (The one with the glowing Apple logo) along with the hard shell case fits perfectly in this sleeve. The fit is snug and there is no movement within the sleeve. The magnetic flap on the sleeve closes properly and the laptop feels secure inside.With its internal foam padding, Tensaerlite synthetic surround, neoprene exterior and soft lining, the ICON sleeve from InCase seems to be quite durable. When it comes to scratch and shock protection, I will not test these features but I will say that I do feel less anxiety when using my MacBook Air in this sleeve as opposed to the others that I have tried and used in the past. I have no qualms in recommending this sleeve to others.

I previously had the Amazon Basics envelope case for my 13-inch 2017 MacBook Air, and though it worked well for me, I needed something a bit more form fitting with a little bit more protection to fit in my bag when I travel. This seems to offer a good balance of both with being slim but also having some good protection, at least around the corners. I'm still getting used to placing and removing my MacBook in and out of the case, given how the case opens, but like how snug it fits and the magnets are a nice touch.

As other have stated, quality is great as expected for inCase, but the main issue is that this is a perfect size for a 15 inch MacBook, not 13. The laptop slides around a lot in there. Not sure if quality control missed this or what happened. So as long as you don’t mind the extra space, it’s a very good quality case. I took a photo to show the difference, but it seems amazon has removed the “add photo” option at this time. Not sure why.

Love the style a lot. Mixed feelings about the stand/view configuration - endlessly slips at 5he wrong moment (product suggestion - a little rubbery clear silicone in the two depressions might make a world of difference). Good value. My other peeve, or for you something to be aware of - these pick up the slightest amount of oil or grease, be it food, household, or shop oils - and even soaking in the best, non-destructive degreaser does not remove such. I plan to buy another just like it, and try spraying two coats of Scotchguard or equivalent, as well as the silicone idea - that might make these perfect!

Not sure if it’s a defect or what but it was labeled as a sleeve for a MacBook Air but was way too big. Slid around all over the case. I appreciate the refund though.

I love the looks, the magnet that keeps it shut, and the material. The only thing is there is a bit of extra room when my 13-inch MacBook air is in it other than that it's great.

I don't know maybe I've taken wrong size but everywhere (also in packet of this cover) there was write "for macbook air". It's impossibile it's not for 13", Maybe for 15....So, for my unlucky, I've sent back.

Moin Zusammen,in der Hoffnung das passende Sleeve für mein MBA gefunden zu haben, bestellte ich jüngst das Incase Icon in der Farbe Heather Grey. Wie von Amazon gewohnt, kam das Case noch am gleichen Tag an (schnelle Lieferung). Ausgepackt musste ich jedoch feststellen, dass das Case den hohen Preis nicht rechtfertigt. Zum einen ist ein ziemlich penetranter chemischer Geruch wahrnehmbar und zum anderen ist die Haptik des Materials generell nicht gut (subjektiv).Da das Case aufgrund des innovativen Verschlusses via Magnetlasche und dem Design (Farbwahl) gefallen hat, bekommt es von mir zwei Sterne. Trotzdem ging es zurück und an der Stelle ein Lob an den (einfach zu nutzenden und schnellen) Amazon-Service.Ich hoffe, dass die Rezension dem interessierten Käufer hilft.MfG
