Decent brand-name 1-gang box
I needed a weatherproof box for a new outlet in an outdoor shed. This 1-gang metal box is from a well known brand that you can often find in the local hardware store. The box has 3 1/2" NPT threaded holes for conduit attachment and includes plugs and mounting hardware.One thing I found odd is that the outlet mounting plates are pressed into place and aren't removable under normal conditions. Other boxes I've used have had mounting plates that are removable which is something that's come in handy once or twice when a box is a little overcrowded.Still, the price is right and I didn't have to go to the box store to get it. Recommended.
