The camera is actually really good, the image quality is among the best and the wide angle is supreme. I really couldn't find any better camera with these spects at this price. I have tried multiple and this one is the best so far. A common misconception is that image can become blurry, but as somebody that has been using these systems for many years, all outdoor cameras need regular dome cleaning, its normal for the cover to get dirty and alter clarity. Customer service is legit, they want to make sure you get a good product. This is the way of why a client decides to stick with the same brand, mutual loyalty.

This camera the 5mp version works good and came with clear instructions. I replaced a Commercial 720p (non wide angle) security camera with this one at work. The effective resolution or image clarity is slightly better than the 720p camera I replaced, but not as good as the 1080p (poe, non wide angle) one that's also in the garage. For my use I'm not relying on it for facial id but if someone is with in 15feet you can see them clear as day. some people said the color is off, I found this to be true only when running in CVBS mode, If you put it in 5mp or 4mp mode the colors become much more accurate. I had to adjust the setting very little. I liked this one so much that I bought second one for another area. Now I can see all the doors and the key fob reader. But again the image quality is only slightly better than the 720p camera I replaced. As 180 degree analog cameras are hard to come by I will be buying one more of these for new install. But in that location the camera will be sitting about 4ft from the door and will close enough for Facial ID.I would recommend this camera if field of view is critical. Also a plus if you can place this camera near your target its will work for Facial ID. Or if you have 720p cameras and you want more field of view.For my application I replaced old camera to cover obvious blind spots. If your planning a new install or upgrading old cameras keep in mind some basic Ideals of security like range to target. If DCSEC makes revision I would like to see a better image sensor so this camera can sit between a1080p and 2k camera in image quality.Edit I'm an idiot. I changed the bit rate the max and it's as good as my commercial 1080p cameras but covers twice the area. Definitely a recommendation to buy!

The description does not match the item, at night the image is lost and looks blurry, I installed it in front of the house, and I had to replace it with another security camera

I've installed about 50+ standard cameras but this is the first wide angle one I've done.... I like the camera, but I don't think it is truly 180 degrees more like 170 or a tad less. The camera must be installed horizontal... if you are going to put it on a vertical wall you need a bracket to keep it horizontal. The ability to set the type of output is a little problematic unless you have your system connected and can view the picture remotely... the only way I could set the video output was with the internal menu on the display of the DVR... to my cell phone. Of course this is also the best way to set the camera view... Not worried about the night view so much... am going to order two more.

Excellent Camera, Very good quality and works well. I do recommend this for Carports, Patios, Decks, and much more. This is a wired camera and has 4 Modes. The manual tells you how to set it up and it is easy. It remembers the memory from your programming in the case of a power outage.

I bought 2 , the one use indoor and one use outdoor.The outdoor one is fine. But the one indoor occasionally become blue(double image).I don't know what happens.

Excellent Cameras the wide angle is awesome. My customers love them and I'll continue to use these as long as they're in stock. I would recommend these to anyone.

This camera have great night vision and 180 degrees view but it is very grainy view day and night . It a bit too bright. And it have the same problem like the 360 degrees camera too much condensation is building up inside once water hit glass while it is outside. The four holes needs to be sealed Before we buy or placed them on marketplace. These can't be placed outside for no reason.once rain falls or even snow hit them the four holes on back water will leaking inside camera and damage all circuits inside. ..so I am requesting my money back for all three them I buy for this monthK
