Can you use any other heating tool other than a laminating machine?

Simple. Just use the same laser printer that you used to print the copy. I open a Word document and add a couple of spaces just so the printer will think it is printing something. Send it through with the foil facing the heating element of your printer, and the printer will use the same heating process to fuse the foil to the toner on the paper as it used to fuse the black toner to the paper in the first place. I do not use a paper shield; just feed the foil bare on the paper. I use dot stickers to hold the foil to the paper.

What is the width or gauge of the metal? In inches or mil would be great to know?

The sheets are 6x12 as for the thickness of the foil they are VERY VERY thin sheets

Can this be used with a heat press machine and with htv adhesive?

Yes it works great for that, just know that it will only last a few washes on clothes. Check out expressionsvinyl.com for info

Can you use this with the we r memory keepers foil quill?

This will not work with the We R Memory Keepers foil quill. Foil for the foil quill system has a heat activated adhesive on one side, whereas this is toner reactive foil and requires a toner based image for it to adhere to.
