*update* still enjoying this surfbutta. Have been taking my kids for water parks, use it on their thighs and around their waist (under their suit) and no more red thighs or waist after a long day of water play! And it stays on really well in the water. I want to tell so many people about this product, because they are walking funny because their thighs are hurting. *Original review* just as good as body glide, but body glide was out of stock and needed something to keep my thighs from rubbing. ordered this and worked great. I used it at a wedding (the rare time I wear a dress). And have used it every time I have gone on a long hike with the kids. I had been using body glide for years, but might switch to this permanently.

I bought this because a few weeks ago we went to Darien Lake and went swimming. Well because I have chubby legs they were chaffing like crazy! It hurt so bad it was ridiculous. But I read the reviews and thought "well it doesn't hurt to try." And today I put it to the test. I put it on before we got into the pool. And after we were done we walked around the amusement park to find a place to eat and ride some rides. This product is amazing. I didn't chaffe at all! I kept thinking that it wasn't going to work and that I'll probably feel the chaffing later. Well I didnt! I recommend this to anyone that has chaffing and that likes to enjoy the water but dreads walking after.

This product is wonderful. My job involves being in an out of salt water for 40 hours a week and before I started using this I would often get chafing and little bumps on my inner thighs from the rubbing of salty shorts. I've been using it for over a year and I don't have any problems anymore. It is also great when I go hiking to keep shorts from sticking and my thighs from chafing.

Works well enough, a little greasy right after application and after about 4 hours needs to be reapplied but that's to be expected and the greasiness wears off after about 10 minutes so it's just smooth and frictionless. Good for beach days because sand doesn't get stuck to it like Vaseline or oil based products.

I wear pencil skirts all day at work so chafing is a huge issue for me. I was using body glide and it worked well but the price point had me looking for alternate options. Enter surf butta! I was drawn in by the fact that it claims to be sweat and waterproof (body glide would wear off if I sweat too much). So far surf butta has lived up to its word, I very rarely get chafing burns now and when I do it's because the fabric of my shorts are rubbing me, not my own legs! Not to mention the price is significantly better for the size you get than body glide's!

After a three hour surf session this morning I decided this product is worth a review. In short, it's awesome. Here's why: 1. It works really well for chaffing. I put it on my armpits where my wetsuit rubs and it works amazing and lasts the entire time you're in the water. 2. It lasts forever. I've had the same stick for like a year. 3. It doesn't ruin your wetsuit, bathing suit, etc. 10/10 would recommend to fellow surfers!

This stuff worked better than could imagine. I was skeptical at first as it almost felt restrictive, like it would be worse than not having it. But once it dries, you don't feel it. The real helpful aspect is that once it gets wet, it becomes slippery which is why it helps to protect. We used it on our 3 year old on the beach who had bad burns all the other times at the beach and it was AWESOME!!!. No pain and we actually became psuedo sales people on the beach for this stuff as other parents had a similar problem.

So this product is seriously a life saver. I just finished working for a convention. This convention is fairly large 10k or so attending each year. I work as a member of their line control, which means constant movement and projecting my voice (seriously is sound like a 49 year smoker. Anyways over three days I put in just over 20 miles of walking. With only a few breaks during the day, I have no chaffing let me repeat that NO CHAFFING. Here I am walking around wading through cosplayers and furries screaming my head off to keep lines moving and orderly chafe free. This is a must for anyone who will be doing a large amount of walking or running. One application lasts the whole day. The only thing I noticed was that chlorine in the pool destroyed it.

Works! But not how I expected, feels very slippery, almost Slimey when applied and walking. But if you don’t mind that then overall it does the job and lasts long. I use it when I wear dresses in 40° Hot humid weather and it works perfectly

Works well. I don't get any chaffing now. No scent. No skin reactions. Washes off in shower easily post run.

Never had bleeding nipples after running since I started using this.

Not as good as expected.
