Ranger Ready Repellents P2Pak Permethrin + Picaridin Tick & Insect Repellent, Scent Zero, 8 Fl Oz. (Pack of 2)

I first bought a small bottle of Ranger Ready insect repellant at a state park store when I arrived and realized I'd forgotten bug spray. I didn't have high expectations, I have sensitive skin and even most repellant that says it's unscented feels and smells chemically. That first bottle was labeled unscented, and it really didn't have an unpleasant odor, or feel - so I thought it probably wouldn't be very effective. Wrong - it worked great! And lasted longer than the chemical stuff I had been using that seemed to fade the second half of most hikes (once I got good and sweaty). So the next test was to use it while working in my garden on a hot humid day after it had rained - again worked great, not bothered by flying or biting insects! I was happy to find the same product, including the additional option of the permethrin spray for clothing and gear, on Amazon, in larger spray bottles, as well as in the convenient small spray bottles. My only caution is that the sprayer/nozzle assembly on the larger bottles is a little flimsy - I have now used numerous of the small spray bottles, tossed them in various bags and containers, have dropped them with no issues, but the larger spray bottles hold more, are heavier, and if you drop one wrong you can easily shatter parts of the sprayer apparatus and render the bottle useless (when this happens I end up unscrewing the tops of partly used smaller bottles and emptying what's left in the large bottle into smaller ones). But I do recommend the Ranger Ready product - it works!

I live in the woods! Constantly putting on bug sprays of all kinds, and I can’t see the smell, but this doesn’t seem to be too bad. It dries and I like that I can put it on shoes or clothing and it lasts without having to put it on every time I go outside.

I also swell up dramatically even though I do not touch my bites, we measure them by inches! I even get sleepy if I get 3 or more bites!So I desperately need effective prevention that isn’t oily, isn’t offensive smelling, that I can use every day where I live! Nothing works: aromatic things, sonic, zappers, even sprays because I have to cover every inch of my surface - including eyelids, scalp, knuckles, everywhere - they flock to any part of me!Are you the person who gets bites while swimming? 🤚🏼 That’s me. If you know someone like that, buy them this as a gift. They will think of you and smile everytime!The Sprayer is perfect! Even has an off/on stopper for child/travel safety! 👏🏼👉🏼 This is not the typical oily product you are used to! You will not be covered in dirt or start sweating immediately because you won’t be covered heat-to-toe in stinky oil!✅👏🏼 This product lasts many hours! I haven’t timed it but it definitely has longevity!The product for your clothing and gear you also need too! Keeps critters away like ticks. Spray on your hiking boots, hat, along the base of your tent, etc.Stay Safe, not irritated! 👍🏼Phenomenal products!

Works 💪 as it should

Great products, great repellents. You can raise your chances of not bitten status to almost equal, but ticks still have slight advantage. Follow 'how to' instructions closely, shake bottle vigorously. Prepare yourself and take time each time before going outside for applying the repellent. Non-oily is another great feature.

Got this to keep away flies, ticks, and mosquitoes while camping. The body spray works and doesn’t have an off putting odor like every other spray repellant I’ve used. The clothing spray also works. No ticks or bites on the last 2 week camping trip we went on this year.

Great at repelling in mild climates. Mosquitos approach then quickly turn away and prefer to chew on my hunting partner that doesn’t use RR. However, I’ve found in the high humidity of the south, on those days and nights when you can wring your clothes out, and your face and skin is beading sweat, it does not hold up and must be reapplied. Which is unfortunate because that’s when I need the repellent the most. So I would have to say it’s only “12 hour” in mild heat conditions. Bought it for the “no scent” and atleast that is true.
