Doggy Man Stainless Steel Professional Dog and Cat Nail Clipper, Plier Style, 5-Inch

Absolutely THE BEST nail clippers I have EVER used! We have 7 small dogs and needless to say clipping nails has ALWAYS been a chore. NOT ANYMORE! Right out of the package they are sharp so the nails are actually cut and not " smashed" the squeeze action is smooth and takes no effort at all. Clippers are lightweight and very comfortable in my hand and even the dogs behaved differently after the first cut. I will be buying a pair of this brand for our large dogs as well, and If this pair ever need replacing, I will buy them again with no hesitation.

WOW! What a difference. These are great. I have always preferred guillotine type dog nail clippers because I felt they gave me better control and visibility to see how much nail I was clipping. These plier type usually block my view of the nail and don't let me decide how much nail to cut at one time. With these Millers Forge clippers, I am completely converted to the plier type. These are different from and superior to the other plier types I have tried. These do not block view of the nail, let me see exactly how much nail I want to cut, are sharp, and cut very quickly. The nail is crisply cut, no crushing and splintering. I can even cut slivers at a time when I'm worried about where the quick may be. I'm cutting nails on a small ten pound dog with fairly thick nails for that dog size. I feel good control using these. Highly recommend.

I've been through every type of nail clipper for dogs, guillotine, dremel and other scissors styles. I knew there had to be a better way and asked a professional what she uses. These just work. They make a quick, sharp cut and are very easy to use.

These are very sharp and perfect for professional groomers, only problem I have with these is that as I use them the screw loosens and it won’t close until I re-tighten it. It’s just pretty annoying because after about every 7-10 dogs I do I have to re-tighten them.

i used to love this brand of nail clipper. stopped buying them several yrs ago due to the springs started falling out of all of them. decided to give them another try and they are DULL. don't understand it, bc this brand is usually great and their scissor style nail clippers are excellent and SHARP!

This cuts through chihuahua nails like butter! Day and night difference from the Dollar Store kinds! I also love that it doesn't come with the annoying guide stops like other clippers. Those tend to obstruct the view and increase my likelihood of cutting the quick.

I’ve used those guilotine type clippers for many years, lots of drama with nail clipping since that kind tug and crushes the nail a bit. My puppy did not even notice I clipped two nails when I was washing his feet. These clip the nail quickly and easily ! Yay!

Perfect for my ageing cat but wouldn't recommend them for all but the smallest dogs. Quality however is top notch they are very sharp and smooth, some cheaper brands will split the nail but these slice straight through easily.

Der Winkel der klinge ist leider sehr steil wodurch die zange beim zusammenpressen vom Nagel rutscht. Ich würde sagen wirklich eher für Katzen. Nicht besonders scharf und hinterlässt kein schönes schnittbild. Nichts für Hunde und dafür viel zu teuer.

Makes a nice clean cut. No worries about the nail splitting and getting caught on things.

Little to no resistance between nail and blade. Nice and comfortable to hold in the hand. No idea about durability but brilliant so far. My sister uses these on her 7huskies and also the dogs she rehabilitates and re-homes. So I’m guessing that the durability is there though.
