Do these reduce emf radiation or only emi? would like to put on monitor and computer adapater to reduce rf radiation.
Are there any data sheets for these cores? I'd like to kniow the specs on these.
If I put one of these on every lead to appliances that makes a spark (mixer, crock pot thermostat) will it stop my Arc fault breakers from tripping?
What is the FerRite mix on these 31,43,61 ???

Theses are a must have for ham radio

That are very easy to install. There are different sizes.Do a very nice job on the stray RF noise.I have them almost everywhere. On every piece of coax and on the mike cable. If you say I don't need them.Ok.I say not yet but you will. When you start running 1,500 Wat amplifier you will wish you had some. They work very well and are inexpensive.I bought this one time.I have them in the shack, pickup truck, wife's car (she's a ham also).I have some left over and have given some to my fellow ham operator'sGreat to have on hand.I keep them in a crown Royal bag.

Definitely works

Needed to limit noise on cables near my amateur radio rig. For the price I was surprised by how effective they are. I snapped maybe three on the USB cable going from my laptop to my Icom 7300 and did not notice any electrical noise. Completely eliminated the interference. Good price and effective.

Seam to work well. Used on a truck with a little noise in the radio.

Great for Hams and Radio Enthusiasts

I am a new ham and bought this set just to have, not entirely understanding when and how they're used.Since then, I've set up antennas inside my computer room on the ceiling (yes, i know, bad idea, but it's temporary). Anyway, transmitting on 6m/10m/12m FT8 would cause all kinds of USB devices to disconnect/reconnect, and monitors to turn off/on.Adding these ferrites, especially the largest size with the wire doubled over about 3 times per ferrite, solved all of the issues. Attach them close to the connection to the PC, or where power cords connect to monitors/PCs.I'm very glad I've gotten them and will probably need to buy another pack soon.

PREVENT CORRUPTED COMPUTER FILES

Easy to clip on and fit well on the cables and power supply cord. These ferrite rings will greatly reduce the electrical interference and noise on my USB devices. I bought a USB cable with a ferrite ring for one thumb drive a while back because some of my files became corrupted. But I wanted to put ferrite rings on the rest of my drives and on my supply cords.

These Ferrite Beads fixed my LED interference issue

I used these to fix an electrical interference issue with a wireless 3-way switch that I had previously installed in my kitchen to control three recessed light fixtures. This is basically a surface mount rocker switch that sends a radio signal across the room to a receiver... like a garage door opener. The system worked fine with incandescent bulbs, but when I installed LED's in the three recessed light fixtures, the switch would only work intermittently. I put one of these ferrite on each of the two wires feeding each light socket (needed to reach up into the recessed light to install, which was a bit tricky due to space constraints). So this was two beads per light. After installation, the wireless 3-way switch is working correctly again. No issues since installation. Very pleased to be able to upgrade the lighting to LED and keep the switch functionality. Worked very well, as described. I gave 4 stars for installation because the hinges on the plastic over-mold were pretty flimsy and it took some finesse to get the two halves to line up so that the clasps would latch. Keep in mind I was working overhead and blind with my hand inside a recessed light. If you snap these onto a wire in a normal setting, there is NO issue. Very pleased and would purchase again.

Didn't fix my static issues

So, like most folks with jeeps, I've added LED light bars and gotten static issues on my radio. After doing some research, it seemed these ferrite rings were the answer. I ordered the variety pack knowing I had different size wires to work with. First issue I noticed is the latches are very fragile. I broke several trying to get them locked. After putting some on, I still had static issues. Since I bought a pack of sixty, I added more, and more, and more. Used all of them and while the static isn't as bad as it was, but it is still to strong to hear anything but the closest radio stations. I've pretty well given up and just streaming my music since these didn't work

Completely Squashes GPU EMC

I was getting tons of loud GPU ground loop/common mode noise via USB to my external DAC. Nothing worked, even the ground loop isolation devices. After applying one medium choke to each of the PCI-E connectors, one large choke across both, and one large choke across the aux CPU power wires (all close to the noise source, so GPU and mobo respectively) I am hearing absolutely no noise - even with Furmark. These also double as cable management clips.Put simply: the medium chokes are large enough to clip over single PCI-E power wire bundles, and the largest chokes are large enough for two PCI-E power wire bundles.Super easy to install: open and click closed.
