OK, I normally wear a size 20 in bluejeans. And a size 2x or 20 in women's shirts. I wear an extra large in men's shirt. I ordered this dress in a size 20, navy blue. After trying to dress on, I love the dress and the look… But it's just a little large. So I will be returning this dress for a size 18… The jacket it's just about on my hips, the dress hits 3 inches below my knee and I'm 5 foot three and white 210 pounds. There is no tightness through the shoulders or in the sheer arms of the jacket. The neckline is a tad bit low, for my liking. But this will certainly work for my son's wedding in November. Hope this review helps any questions just ask.

I usually where a size 20 pant, I am 5’2 and around 250lbs. I wear a 38DDD and usually where 3x tops, I like them loose. The top was a it loose, but I am very conservative when it comes to clothing and it felt too low cut. I had it altered slightly so it was not so low. I ordered a size 24 and was glad I did. I am big around the middle and I think anything smaller would no have fit the middle. I used a body shaper I got from Layne Bryant but I do not think I had to have it, I just felt more comfortable with it. I usually do not feel comfortable in a dress and I did in this one. I was very pleased with this purchase.

My mother bought this for my nephew's wedding. It shipped on time and arrived all intact, no seams ripped or just open. She ordered a size larger because amazon clothing always needs to be ordered larger. It fit her midsection fine but was a bit loose on her chest and shoulders, but we did expect that because of the cut of the dress and her body style, it worked fine though and she looked beautiful. She usually wears a 20 and ordered a 22.The fabric is nice and flowy and comfortable to wear, even in 100+ degree July heat. it was a little wrinkled, but a simple steaming in the dryer and it was fine.She would buy this dress again and recommend it to her friends, she actually brags about coming to my house after shopping for weeks for a dress and not finding one and saw this one on my computer and loved and ordered it and basically got what she wanted and had been looking for.

Well, I ordered three dresses to choose from for my granddaughters wedding and this one made the cut. This dress is comfortable, stylish, flattering and modestly priced in my opinion. Amazon offers free returns so it was an easy decision to shop with that in mind. This dress is a light and airy chiffon, the navy color is rich and the length is just below the knee which is what I wanted. I'm 5'8" and wear a size 20 and this dress makes me feel beautiful. I plan on wearing silver dress heels and I'm so happy to have found THE dress.

Exactly what I need to go to my nephew's evening wedding in two weeks. For once, someone noticed that a obese woman can be tall! Shipment was prompt as always from Amazon. I'm 5'10", 230lbs, 42C, jeans 42x33, XL men's tshirts, wear a size 20MT (med tall) in LL Bean Bayside Twill pants (my everyday work pants) and large in men's Hawaiian shirts from Costco (my everyday work shirt). This dress is very dark blue, falls to just below my knees - just like in the model's photo, and the fabric and cut are hefty enough to hint at my curves without showcasing my fat. The neckline in front is tastefully decorated with dark blue bugle beads and lighter blue round beads. The bodice shows a little cleavage as is appropriate for a cocktail dress, but not too revealing for the groom's auntie - my guess is that both smaller and larger busted women will like this style. The light jacket falls to my wrists - again just like the model's photo, and there is both embroidery and the bugle beads at the shoulders. All in all, I'm very pleased by this dress and will be buying from S.L. Fashions again.

I love this dress. It fits below the knee and I am 5 foot 6 1/2 so I like the fit the only other area that needed improvement was the way they packaged it , it was wadded up in a smaller box with plastic over half of the dress so it’s pretty wrinkled. For a dress that you pay that much for, I would say this is unacceptable. You can do better than this Amazon!

After ordering & returning several dresses to wear to a formal dinner I was very leary about the "false advertising" as the products never matched the description. This dress was beautiful from the fit (I am a larger size) to the color (lavender grey). I did have to iron it as it was very, very wrinkly (would have dry cleaned it rather than ironed but time was a factor). I received many complements and I felt quite comfortable in the dress which is a plus as I am very self conscious! Would recommend!

Gorgeous dress! It does run a size too big. I had to exchange mine down...no complaints there. Otherwise perfect for my son’s wedding! Great quality, beautiful beading, and just overall a very classy look.

Beautiful color, material and fits Great, I figured I would need an 18 but went a size larger sz 20 and it fits just the way I would want it too, I don't think I will have it taken it in at all, since it is a straight tank dress a person can get away with it being looser.Not clingy on me at all.. love the feel of the material, nice weight to it. Jacket fits perfect and very happy I got a great price on this, when I bought it , it was only 100.00 cad , wow now it is almost 200 cad.. either way it is worth it.. so yes I would pay more for it if I had too, just happy I didn't have too.I bought this for my step sons wedding and will be wearing it in September.Just need the shoes now.Very pleased with this purchase.. super fast 2 day shipping, ordered it on Friday and received it on Monday, since was over weekend, it was not expected to arrive until Tuesday so a day earlier.This dress would be very easy to take in so don't be afraid to order a larger size if unsure.I should add I am 5'5" and weighing 225 lbs

I bought this dress for a 60th Anniversary Reception and it was perfect. Love the colour. The sizing was perfect and the style of dress is easy to wear for someone older who no longer wears restrictive clothing and high heels. It is difficult to find something dressy and comfortable to. This dress does both.

This dress was terrible! Buyer beware! The dress had RIDICULOUSLY small arm holes - a problem I have NEVER encountered before with any piece of clothing. Besides that, the dress was very flattering until I put on the jacket and then seemed to resemble a football/gridiron/rugby player OR was transported back to the 80's. The shoulder pads were ENORMOUS. I was very very disappointed in this purchase and returned immediately.
