Lifetime 1008 Adjustable In-Ground Basketball Hoop, 44-Inch Backboard, Red/White/Blue

We were able to easily put this together and install it. It was missing one piece which Lifetime promptly sent when I called them about it. They even put a rush on the delivery. We had purchased this for our grandchildren and all of us have enjoyed using it.

I put this in the ground with the add insert pipe sold separately. That worked well for my needs and I can remove it if I wanted to, but I doubt I will, just wanted the option. Board is fairly sturdy, it the smaller 44 inch but the grand kids 10-12 yrs are having a blast with it. For the price, it does what I expect. If I had some highschool - more serious players, I would have to spend some more money for a more sturdy nicer option. and if they get serious about hoops, then, maybe that will happen in 4-5 years. This should last that long i would think. The backboard is not glass, its a durable plastic. I like the quality for the money spent. It is not a 500 dollar hoop. Dont expect that. If you have Senior high school kids that want to slam dunk all the time, then this is not the one for you.

This is a good product, but completing setup is not easy. The pole is in three sections and the directions say to plant the bottom third in cement in the ground. Then they have you construct everything that's left – the pole, the hoop, and backboard all together, and then lift the whole thing up and place it onto the bottom third of the pole in the ground. Directions say you must have three people to do this, and they're not kidding. Since the backboard moves up and down to change the height, I found it helpful to tie up the backboard to the pole to keep it from moving while lifting the whole thing up.I have doubts that it will support dunkers hanging on the rim, but seems very good for "normal" use.

This is our third of this model (we left other two in the house we sold) and it is perfect for pool side installation! Please keep making this. The instructions were much improved compared to years ago. Only suggestion would be to save money on the extra two pole sections and sell a pool version! Or last two lasted for multiple Arizona summers and still looked great!

Definitely need two people to install. Instructions are not real clear, but you can get it put together. Overall, a great value for family fun.

Very well built, assembly required, a hole, & cement. It has been great! We all have a great time playing basketball 🏀

Missing parts, all styrofoam completely destroyed. Waited 2 weeks for this. Shameful
