This is the second of these China made wheels I have bought. I now have one in Hawaii for when I'm there and one on the "mainland". Recently in Art Clay Center in Tacoma, Wa, I saw a used Brent wheel on the bulletin board for $1500. No need. These China-made wheels are quiet and strong. They can go either direction, have foot and hand control for speed, and seem to be built very well. I am a small woman and can lift it with ease, yet it is solidly stable. Really recommend these for getting into throwing pottery without spending a fortune! Comes quickly as well.

The 350 watt Vevor Pottery Wheel works but I had to set it on a low table or else sit on the floor to use it. It's best to get the model that has a foot control separate from the wheel. The foot control on this model is placed in a weird place. Impossible to use the wheel with clay and operate the foot pedal with my foot at the same time. It works best just to set the pottery wheel on a table and operate the foot control/speed with my hand. I use this as a backup to my professional wheel.

I finally used my wheel at an art in the park with kids and adults. It works really great! High quality, and I just have to learn how to master it, and I will actually create something.

It’s a perfect small potters when. The only issue is the box had a hole on one side. I am assuming it was due to the transport and handling. I haven’t used the product yet. Need to buy some clay! Exciting to prepare for!

So I actually use this to polish dice and so far, I have enjoyed it. If has definitely reduced the time I spend polishing plus saves my wrists. It is quiet too! No complaints here!

I love this product because it allows me to create my own candle accessories.
