World's Greatest Short Stories (Deluxe Hardbound Edition)

While I have not completed this book the stories are very interesting. It is a compilation of literary stories, very thought provoking and spooky at times. A very good read.

This was the first page when opening the book and my daughter couldn't agree more 😆 I thought I was tripping but apparently the pages were placed the wrong way in the book (backwards and upside down) and we had a great laugh.. and I think it's pretty cool and unique.. I'm happy it was sent to me but I'm disappointed in the fact that I was looking for a book collect with the stories by Shirley Jackson the lottery.. either way 5 stars for the unique book

Bought as a gift for a young man who loves to read. He really enjoyed it.

Sent to Mom as one of Xmas gifts. She opened already. She loves it an can't wait to start reading. Great gift for "real" book enthusiasts!

A beautiful cover perfect for coffee table reading. The stories are so different from each other, you never know what is next despite the index of course. Really good to pass the time and not get sucked in for long.

I purchased this book so when my husband and I travel I can read it! I started reading it and I cannot stop it is very interesting I love the short stories. I recommend this book if you are bored!

Just casually flipping through the book I noticed many words merged together. Taking a closer look it appears that someone copy/pasted these stories from some other format resulting in the word-merging.There isn't even a content page to let you know what stories are available on which pages.It's fitting that the company name is "Happy Hour" because the editor had to have been drunk.I have refunded this purchase because this was supposed to be used for homeschooling and I cannot present this mess to the intended audience.

It was a gift for a friend. He raved about it and loved it. Many hours of enjoyment.
