Yamazaki Home Wall Clock - Modern Wood Home Decoration Steel + Wood One Size Walnut

I rarely ever take the time to write reviews, but this clock is beautiful! Exactly what I was looking for.

This clock replaced a boring old one and helped update my mantel with a more sleek, modern look that mixed a touch of the "woodsy" natural side with the modern iron. I used a small piece of tacky "earthquake clay" to hold it in place on the mantel instead of hanging on the wall. Works great. Not silent -- but not loud.

Simple, beautiful and a good size.This is made from real wood and metal. Hard to find these days! I chose a dark wood which makes it a tad hard to read in low light but really, I'm just nit-picking. The clock face is otherwise legible and clear and the size means doesn't dominate a wall which is exactly what I want. Everyone who's seen this clock remarks how beautiful it is.

Update: After using it for a few weeks, I’ve noticed that the ticking can be quite loud in quiet environments, especially when trying to sleep. However, in spaces like the living room, it’s not too noticeable. I’ve deducted one star because of this.This wall clock is both stylish and practical. Its sleek design adds a touch of elegance to my space, making it feel more put together. The build quality feels solid, and it looks great on the wall.As for the ticking, it’s not loud or distracting to me. If you’re in an ultra-quiet space, you might notice it more, but in my environment, I barely notice it at all.Overall, this clock strikes the perfect balance between aesthetics and function. Definitely recommend!

Looking nice and not cheap. The picture maybe dark just because of my living has bad lighting.

The wood is actually a much darker stain so it's very hard to read the clock face, especially at night. I should have returned it. I waited too long.
