C1 Shubb Standard series Acoustic Guitar Capo - Polished Nickel

This capo works great. Easy and quick to put on and remove and has adjustable pressure. My reason for trying this capo is I was tired of replacing my other clip-on brand capo every time the spring would get weak, which in my case would be at least once a year because of how much I use it. I've had the 12-string version of this for a couple years and it's still going strong! This 6-string version is just as good.

While the adjustment knob is an extra step compared to spring tension capo's, this should prolong the product life and provides a steady pressure across the neck as desired.

Feels quality. It's a good shape for a Taylor Academy 22e's neck so probably also for other Mexican made Taylors. Adjustable squeeze. Only gripe is that you can't clip it to you headstock when not in use due to it's design. I own the same one for a Martin and a Seagull as well.

Thrilled with this product. It has a death grip on your fretboard and allows for super clean tones from our guitar without any twangs heard from cheaper capos. Also like the chrome finish on ours, but get the style that suits your taste. High quality construction, super sturdy, easy to use.Note that the one we purchased was specifically engineered for thinner acoustic guitar fretboards, as opposed to wider ones on NYLON guitars.

Fantastic! Does not pull the strings out of tune. Easy to use, very sturdy and solidly made. I immediately ordered a second one, and put my old, cheap, too tight and too pinch-y capos in the trash.

I bought this capo based on reviews. It works well and is adjustable. But for me, I would probably have been better served by a spring loaded capo so I could use it with one hand without a learning curve to get there.

Been trying various capos after years of using cheap capos. Love this capo! Easy to use and very low profile and not in the way when doing B7 chords and similar shapes. No buzzing strings and no changes as you play.

These are like tanks— they last forever. Consistent pressure across all the strings and durability are what you get with these, and there’s not a lot of clunky hardware like the spring clamps

I've been playing guitar for over 50 years and have used a multitude of capos in that time...but I had never had a Shubb. Having seen many favourite Nashville artists using Shubbs, I felt the time was right to finally get one of my own. I incorporated mine during some recent rehearsals and corresponding gig and it did the job excellently. Highly recommended as the tension/pressure can be adjusted easily to adapt to whichever guitar you're using.
