Can anyone tell me how it compares to Skinceuticals CE Ferulic. The price difference is huge but not worth it if not as spectacular as Skinceuticals.

I read somewhere that skinceuticals has a patent on the pH of their active L-ascorbic acid. The patented pH is 2.5-3.0, and so this serum has a pH in between 3.0-3.5 to prevent patent violations. It smells like vinegar. The smell is so strong that it makes my eyes water, and is nauseating. Is this normal?

It is not normal or I would say safe under any circumstances but it is normal for their serum. I saw two broken capillaries on my chin two days after its use and I literally threw away the bottle/ my 40$!!
