Ford petrol pick-ups F-150 2WD & 4WD (04-14) Haynes Repair Manual (Paperback)

Manual is okay. Some sections have just enough info to get you in trouble. I mean, this 3/4" thick book is supposed to cover 2 generations of F150 so you decide. If you read carefully, work carefully and slowly you'll probably be able to do what DIY'ers are capable of. Look before you leap. Haynes actually has pretty good manuals but I believe they could do a lot better. Even if you had to pay more for a higher quality manual it would be worth it. Maybe have two or 3 tiers. It's difficult to find shop manuals anymore, with everything requiring a mouse-click so a more thorough manual might have appeal.

Typical repair book with medium quality black and white pictures. However it seems to provide the information you may need to make repairs…

I didn't like how cheap the paper was that the manual was made out of. I bought this book to fix the AC on my 2011 f150, I had no idea what to expect. I figured how hard could it be to replace an ac compressor? Well I couldn't have done it without this manual. Over 1000 dollars and a whole weekend later I finished it up and it blows cold air. This book is a must have for any DIYer 🤙🏻

As an avid motorcycle owner/rider I have learned that a service manual for EVERY vehicle you own and plan to work on is essential to do things right! Also makes for a lot less headaches of trying to figure things out yourself!This manual is pretty accurate, although I've read other reviewers say it's lacking some things. That said, I don't plan on doing any major overhauls but the more easier issues I plan to tackle myself. This book will definitely help!Some of the pictures (in black and white) can be hard to see but if you have a general idea then you should be able to figure things out. (And what you can't, well, YouTube is always your best friend!) They also include arrows that point to specific parts and bolts, etc.Again, a must-have for any Ford F-150 owner.

I have one of these for every car I've owned. They come in handy. It's not something that I've ever regretted buying even if I've never had to repair something on the car. Buy it, look at it, put it in the car you've bought it for.

I am an amateur mechanic and have been working on my 2011 F150 for a few years now. This book has quite a few handy diagrams and part numbers that may be hard to find elsewhere, but I wish that Haynes or other such providers gave us a video accompaniment for their repair instructions. For those of you who are familiar with Haynes and their products this will work great. For people like me who need a helping hand, this is a good addition to your library, but you'll need other materials as well.

This manual seems to have a lot of good information and is very usable. I own a 2008 Ford F150 and I recently used this book to help me change out my coils. I also referred to it a couple of times when I did a recent cold air intake conversion. The pages themselves are very flimsy - like newspaper. You just have to be careful not to rip the pages - which is easy to to - as you turn and refer to them. This book has a LOT of very useful and relevant information - even little side bits of info and warnings about how best to do or not do something - and that's probably the reason for the thin pages. Any thicker paper and this manual would have probably been too big to be useful. :-) So, so far I've found it useful and I'm happy with it.

Most stuff is useless but will say owner’s manual has the same stuff. Most content is just filler by the printer.

Product is fine. However, whoever delivered felt it was good enough to drop it at the end of our very long driveway at our address sign and didn't actually deliver it to the house.

A must have in your vehicle for those unpredictable situations.

This manual claims to cover the 4WD parts of the F150 truck. Well, it DOES NOT ! There is nothing inthis manual that would refer in any way to 4WD repair ! I ordered this manual based on what it showedon the cover , since my immediate need is to repair the 4WD the manual is useless. I will keep the manual,because I am not going to pay 15% restocking charge plus an other $ 25.00 shipping when the mistakeis not at my end. Very disappointing !

Shows me how to fix stuff. Cant stand the feeling of the paper. Its similar to newspapers. I assumed it would be waxed since it's a shop manual. My bad for assuming. Good book otherwise
