It worked for my r6
Works good my dudes! i liked the aluminum rail thought it would help with weight of it. It also had better looking strap anchers than similar products. I have an r6 that loaded up easy enough with the help of the engine. Great option if you dont want to maintain a trailer or have one taking up space. It Didn't sagg in the hitch like I was worried it might. Things I didn't like was it scratched places most of it slight and all surface damage. The square tubing collapses easy while tighting the bolts but the instructions didn't mention anything about torque. I didn't notice on the first bolt and with such little resistance i dented it slightly. Besides being aware of that it seems to work great

Great hauler. No complaints.
This thing works really well. The only downside thus far is the set-screw (bolt) system that tightens the unit to your hitch to reduce tilting and bouncing. The bolts that are intended for that purpose (like all of the hardware in the kit) are a much cheaper grade of bolt and will bend. I replaced them with grade 8 bolts with decent success. Plan to tighten them a time or two on a long trip, as it’s not a perfect system. I have hauled my KTM 1190 ADV on a couple of long trips and am happy with it. (Slightly under 500lbs) It’s pretty easy to load a bike on by yourself, though you’ll want to put some kind of grip tape on the ramp before you use it. I also got a set of magnetic trailer lights to stick to the carrier as my tail lights are at least partially blocked when the bike is on there. A final note: this thing is heavy. Don’t try to put it on your hitch by yourself if you’re a smaller person.

1600 Mile Trip
I just finished a drive from Monterey California to San Angelo Texas using the carrier to haul my son’s 2017 Thruxton on the back of my 2003 Tahoe. I read several reviews on several carriers before I decided to go with this one and I was still admittedly nervous about hauling his bike halfway across the country on a carrier. Many of the reviews I read addressed the packaging and the contents being loose or missing. The box that I received was in perfect condition and nothing at all was missing. I found the assembly to be quite easy. I did two things with the carrier before we used it and they were both based on other reviews. I added nonskid tape to the ramp and I moved the carrier forward in my hitch and drilled a new hole for the hitch mounting bolt. I could only move it forward about five inches and I can’t say for sure how much difference it really made but reducing a 450 pound lever even just a little bit made me feel better. I certainly didn’t lose anything by doing it. Before I went to California I tested the carrier with his 1980 Yamaha XS650. I loaded it by myself by having it in first gear and walked it up the ramp. I also unloaded it by myself. Loading the Thruxton with two of us was much easier but loading the Yamaha by myself wasn’t a huge deal either. We strapped the bike down using the four tie down points but also added a couple of other straps just for peace of mind. The first 100 miles or so were a little unnerving and we stopped several times to make sure everything was secure. The roads varied from nice flat highways to a handful of two lane bumpy/undulating roads. For the most part, I did the speed limit on the open highway but I did slow down within reason when the roads were less than ideal. We checked the bike at every gas/overnight stop and never had any problems. It remained solid the entire trip and there are no signs of any issues with the carrier. I would add that the front of the Tahoe was naturally a little “light” but I completely expected that with the weight of the bike and another 500 plus pounds of cargo inside. I used magnetic lights because the bike pretty much covered the Tahoe’s rear lights and I also mounted the license plate on the carrier just to avoid any issues with law enforcement. There is no doubt that it took some getting used to but the further we went the more confidence I had in the entire set up. I’d do it again without hesitation.

Cheap Chinese product
I bought this specific product in part because it was able to be delivered by a certain date for a trip. Item arrived on time but not only was the box damaged and had holes in it but it was missing the hardware to assemble. I originally thought it was missing due to the hole in the box however when I unboxed the product it was scratched and looked like it had been used. So I had to procure the hardware myself to assemble it most of the holes were not drilled/punched so I had to do that myself. The piece that fits into the receiver was much smaller and even with a receiver rattle plate, it still moved around quite a lot. Overall not a quality hitch mount motorcycle hauler for the price point. Want to return it but the shipping will be more than I paid.

Quality is diminished by lack of details…
Shipped in 4 days, arrived undamaged. Easy assembly. . I haven’t tested it yet . I’ve given it a B- as a product. As per Chinese industrial standards, the paint is only a one pass. The aluminum C channel edges were razor sharp, unfinished from the CNC router. DIY belt sanding necessary for those who don’t want to forgetfully slice their palm open or a curious child. A little pricey for what you get but otherwise looks like a OK product. The worker in charge of stickers couldn’t be bothered to Find Center and was off by about seven or 8 inches.. Easily removed – lol.

Great product for the money, but check before assembly
Great hitch carrier for the money. A bit heavy for single use and needs ample room for the ramp. The ramp in the picture is not the ramp I received, but the solid ramp was sturdy and had grip material on it. It will comfortably haul a 300-400lb bike. I had minimal sway on it, and was confident nothing. Will happen. Very stable product. Prior to assembling the whole thing, check if the ramp fits in the carrier, mine did not and I requested a replacement. That's another story.

Have not tried it ,still in the middle of winter, it appears to be sturdy enough for my bike, will have to wait for spring, then I can give more info.
