I have been taking this for about 6/7 months now. I wasn't sure that it would help with the heat flashes and sweating but it really does. It took me about a month before I started to see a change. My night flashes got much better, almost gone and the day flashes only last a minute or two and are then gone. I have been able to get much better sleep. I am very sensitive to medication so I don't want to take any kind of sleeping aid. Luckily I don't have to with these.I have traveled and forgotten them, BIG mistake. After about 4 or 5 days I noticed how bad I was getting again. Started them as soon as I got home and after 2 or 3 days and they kicked in again.These have helped sooooo much. I do think this helps with sleep. I bought three boxes; used one, and could not remember for the life of me where I put the other two. I noticed a negative difference in my sleep! I just found the boxes yesterday, so we'll see how the sleep goes once I'm back on it regularly for a bit.

The effective ingredient in this is Peruvian Maca Root. I take 2 pills daily which relieves all my menopause issues so that’s 1000mg. I recently discovered Youtheory brand that is $10 for Peruvian maca root at the same dosage and it works great.

I took the first dose as directed and a little a little later I had an upset stomach with mild cramping. I thought it may be a one off, getting used to the supplements so I took the next round later, as directed. This time it was worse, it caused me to have terrible stomach cramps and headache. The discomfort and pain lasted for hours, into the night and even impacted my sleep. Researching Maca, I found that this indeed happens to a small percentage of people. The worse part about this is that they will not allow you to return it! For the small percentage that this happens to, it's a bad experience all around. I definitely do not recommend this product, it's a painful gamble to the body and pocketbook too!

I feel this has tempered my hot flashes. Still have them just not as many (wevshall see what the summers like as I live in the desert!). I’ve been taking just two in the morning. I haven’t done the two in the afternoon as I’m concerned they may energize me (I have non related serious sleep issues already).
