Sturdy. Durable and good sound!!
This is the best musical spoons I've bought so far. Sounds as great as the videos .Good grip, very sturdy, value for the price, and the weight is perfect. I've had metal spoons that the plastic split and the metal is rough on the hands. Thinking about buying a another one, but a different color! These are a big thumbs up!!

Well made, good timbre & volume
I have considerable wood working experience and my opinion is that these are well made & are not just a novelty item. So, start with thiese beautiful & quality instruments & practice, practice, practice. Watch the videos and play along with your favorite tunes. I bought the large size and I love the effect. After I practice, practice, practice, I will be interested in getting the small or medium size - or both.

Great fidget turned into rhythm
My husband loves to fidget and tap - any tune he finds a way to follow along with his own version of “music makers” which consist of anything from the steering wheel to zippers to actual musical instruments. Well crafted and well received. So unique and the sound is amazing. The videos have been a great help in learning little tricks to get the most dynamic combination of sounds out of this simple instrument. I would recommend this to anyone that is musically inclined and tends to tap and tune in to the sounds around them.

Excellent Sound, Solid Durability, *But You Should Know...*
This is a great pair of wooden spoons. If you're on the market for high quality material, solid construction and great sound production--you're good to go with these. They are easy to learn and surprisingly versatile. NOTE: I bought two pairs and the resistance required to play the two are dramatically different. One was almost painful to play until after a few hours I finally managed to use pressure and a lot of breaking in to get it more tolerable. The other pair is on the totally opposite of the spectrum. It requires little to no pressure at all to clink the spoons together to produce sound. This pair is particularly comfortable to use. TL;DR -- Great Product, BUT if it requires too much force to play, return it for a new one! This should be a COMFORTABLE instrument, not a painful one.

Easy to play
I love instruments and buy a new one every year or so. I have harmonicas, a sax, a trumpet, an orcarina, a guitar, a piano, and some other woodwinds. This is the first percussion instrument I’ve owned though I’ve played drums and have some practice pads and sticks. It didn’t take more than a couple minutes to learn several ways to but I’ve yet to reach the end in variations of play. It be thing that I was surprised about is the volume. It takes great care to play these softly. The videos didn’t make it sound like they were so loud. I started at what I thought would be very gentle levels but the sound echoed thought the entire floor of the house. I’ve learned that if you want to play quietly it takes an extremely soft touch. But the other side is nice, playing with a band is easy. The sound is bright and can cut through the noise with little effort.

Bit of a white haze imperfection in the finish, which at this price point was a little disappointing. However, these are great 👍 and absolute keepers. Good sound and a lot of fun to play.

Thought thease musical spoons were overpriced but have to admit that in practice they are great to play with getting different tones and continuous runs are easily played . Are they worth the money, I would have to say if you can afford it .yes.
