Soft and quality sand. Expensive for what it is though. Do not buy if your kid will just pour out of sand box or sensory bin.

This sand really is so much nicer than the “play sand” you might buy at a home improvement store. I have had ours for a year now and it’s still so great to play with. I feel better having my toddler play in sand that is real beach sand and not hiding toxins. Look up play sand, if you haven’t already, and prepare to be shocked and disgusted at what is in there. This is pricey so don’t try to fill a giant sand box. We have ours in a sand table with a lid. The sand has been wet from play, rain, and snow but it always dries out and stays so nice. I would buy again.

Very fine, clean white sand.

It's not clean. The color is pretty. It had a bunch of black things in it, they look like sunflower seed shells. And some sticks. I rinsed it several times in a bucket, in small batches, and that helped a lot. it's good for an aquarium because it's heavier than "aquarium" sand and doesn't cloud the water or get sucked up in the filter. You also get a LOT for the money.

Pros:- soft- 2 of the 40lb bags fill a small toddler sized sandbox or ball pit- no dust during play (didn't want the cheap dusty sand I spotted at someone else's house, that can easily get into eyes and lungs- nice light color- easy to clean off- great quality- positive reviews, seem accurateCons:-highest price I found on Amazon- would like 1 or 2 bags to make the sandbox more full but can't afford to spend that much- not moist enough to make a sand castle (maybe adding water you could?)All in all, worth spending more money so I know my almost 2 year old isn't playing with toxic, dusty, low quality sand

Good quality for small projects.

Despite saying non toxic, my toddler granddaughter and I both had stinging itchy reaction after playing with the sand. Had to dump out the bag after just one use. Very disappointed in this.

My toddler had so much fun with this sand. Packaging was intact and didn't leak much. When we poured it into the table, it didn't create a dusty cloud so it made for an easty setup. When a little wet it was easy to mold and build. We played with it dry for sensory play and it feels so Soft.
