Leick Home Riley Holliday TV Stand, 62-Inch, Burnished Oak,Brownbronze

We are probably one of only a few who are using this “stand” for a traditional stereo in the living room. Our previous cabinet was too long and heavy. We selected this item because it is made of plywood and solid wood, it’s easy to assemble, and we needed a wide center section for our vintage (1970’s) stereo receiver.We had the box delivered to our garage, as it’s quite heavy, and my husband unpacked it there and brought the pieces individually inside (as another reviewer suggested) and assembled it in the living room. The instructions are minimal but it’s so easy I’m sure I could have done it myself after he brought the pieces inside. UPS did a number on the box (photo 1) but it’s so well packed there was only a slight dent on the front top. We decided to keep it and skip the hassle of returning the top. The top is not finished on the back so we couldn’t switch it around and put the dent on the back.We think the unit is quite attractive although the finish has a deeper reddish hue than we thought, based on reviewer’s photos (photo 2). We’re not picky about this as we have many colors in the living room, anyway.The manufacturer states that the unit is made from veneered “layered” wood and solid wood, and that seems to be mostly true. The top is veneered plywood with solid wood moldings on the front and ends. The cabinet front doors and decorative slats on the glass are solid wood. The back is stained plywood but not veneered. The three adjustable shelves and bottom panels appear to be plywood with veneers. The two folding interior panels (ends of the center cabinet) are MDF, stained but not veneered.The approximate measurements for the component (middle) section are: 38” W x 21-5/8” H x 18” D. The center cabinet adjustable shelf has two solid wood strips underneath, running the length of the shelf to strengthen it (photo 3), but, even so, I wouldn’t put a heavy A/V receiver on it. The unit has one vertical narrow slot in the back for cables (photo 4, top shelf; photo 5, bottom shelf). This is the only ventilation, so when we have our receiver on, we leave the doors open a bit.A common question on cabinets with glass doors, is, will remotes work with the doors open at various angles? Our experience with this cabinet and our TV cabinet in the family room is they will.This cabinet is attractive, well made, and easy to assemble, at an attractive price.

Not top of the line - I would have preferred real oak, Amish made, china knobs, etc., BUT at over a thousand dollars plus, face it, I'll never own one. This console was a close second choice. It is roomy, heavy, sturdy, has a decent finish, albeit a little too on the red side for my liking, easily went together, had plenty of room for other electronics, looks nice in my living room, holds 120 DVDs on the side shelves, accommodates my 55 inch flatscreen, and has enough room leftover for a 30 inch lamp and a pretty flower shaped decorative plate. Quite pleased with the purchase and you can't beat the price. Definitely not a cheap knock together piece of furniture - very solid, very heavy.

Looks like a top quality piece of furniture but was super easy to put together. It was a super heavy box so you will need help moving box but easy to assemble and love final product

VERY PLEASED WITH THIS ITEM. IT ARRIVED SOONER THAN EXPECTED AND WE WERE ABLE TO ASSEMBLE IT IN APPROXIMATELY 30-45 MINUTES. EXPECTED IT TO TAKE LONGER AND BE MORE DIFFICULT BUT IT WAS QUITE EASY SINCE IT IS ALREADY PARTIALLY ASSEMBLED (THE BASE, FRONT, AND BACK UNFOLD). IT LOOKS GOOD AND IS STURDY. HOLDS OUR 65 INCH TV WITH EXTRA ROOM (COULD HAVE PUT A 75 INCH ON IT). THE STORAGE SPACE IS GOOD AS WELL. GOOD VALUE FOR THE PRICE. I SAW MORE EXPENSIVE ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS AT THE BIG BOX STORES THAT DID NOT LOOK AS NICE AS THIS ONE.

Nice looking table but poor construction. The first I ordered came in an undamaged box but when I opened the package, the back panel was cracked badly. I returned it for exchange with little hassle but waited a couple weeks before receiving the replacement. When I removed the replacement unit from the box and expanded it, the retainers for the hinges that allow the unit to collapse for shipment came out of the unit in three different locations with one of the hinges badly broken. Thankfully nothing was scratched or cracked. I removed the hinge retainers (as 2 were on the back of the unit) so the unit could be assembled. If there had been two missing on the front I would have had to return it as you cannot brad nail the supports in place from the front unless you are ok looking at nail heads or nail punch holes (I guess there is always wood putty). Great concept for shipping and easy assembly but poor or inferior design in application.

This is my first purchase from this manufacturer and I must say I am impressed. It is mostly made of solid wood (front, doors, shelves, top, rear frame, ends) and comes mostly assembled. When finished nobody could tell that this is knock down furniture unless you told them! It is massive, heavy, and very solid, with a beautiful dark cherry finish. It is a little on the expensive side but well worth it. I was so impressed that I bought 2 tables from the same manufacturer (Stratus 2). Although not the exact same finish and style they look very nice together.

The Leick brand is trash. The finish on this product was still soft leaving fingerprints upon touching that are now embedded in the finish. The quality and workmanship is well below trash, there are area's that have no finish on them, the detail edge on the top surface is so rough it will give you slivers, the glass in the doors are loose and rattle.As for the vendor who sells this less then proper product (OJ Commerce) they have been horrible at best to deal with getting this returned. Clearly the product is defective from the factory and the manufacturing process and they refuse to take ownership of this defective product. This is a product made in China and it shows, the quality is horrible, quality control has failed, and the vendor has no right to be in business do to the fact they will not stand behind what they sell.VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS TRASH!!!
