After doing some research, I wanted something natural, veterinarian formulated, and easy to administer without upsetting my cat’s sensitive stomach. I’m so glad I found this product! First of all, the tablets are a great size and are easy to crumble if your cat doesn’t like chewing them directly. One of my cats eats them like treats thanks to the chicken flavor, while the other is a bit picky, so I crush the tablet and mix it with a little wet food. Both methods have worked perfectly. I started noticing results within a week or so — less coughing, no more hacking noises, and overall they seem much more comfortable. What I really appreciate about this product is the ingredients. It’s made with Slippery Elm and Psyllium Seed which are known to be natural digestive aids, and I feel confident giving it to my cats regularly. I usually give them the tablets during heavy shedding seasons like spring and fall, and the difference it makes is obvious. Works really well! My cats usually look forward to their hair ball treat. There are some days they don’t want it I think the powder texture makes it seem like it’s medicine but they mostly take it. This has helped a lot with my male he was throwing up hair balls every day I might see one once a month now.

I got these for my 14 year old cat who had kidney failure and wouldn't eat anything anymore. She was also suffering hair balls. To my surprise I didn't have to do anything but break them up and put them in the bowl. I did use a pill cutter to cut them further into quarters. My two 1 year old cats also like them. For one of them, breaking in half is sufficient and he can't wait to wolf them down like treats. The other prefers smaller pieces so I use the pill cutter to quarter them, she usually acts excited to get them but can be slow to eat them and sometimes just sniffs and walks away. I've been giving them the tablets since they were 5 months old and have not had any hairballs from either of them, even now, well into spring shedding season. I also recommended to a friend with a full-figured gal who didn't need the extra calories of the 20 pieces required by most "hairball" treats to actually help with hairballs. The one con is that it doesn't seem like they are consistent from month to month. Sometimes they're easier to break by hand on the score mark and then the next month they're too hard to break and I have to use the pill cutter. That is the only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars. Will your cat like them? Hard to tell, but I had much better luck than I expected, even with a sick cat that didn't want to eat anything.

For cats that won't eat this, throw it in a blender and then shake the resulting powder in with their food. Stops hairballs with fantastic efficiency. Writing strange reviews because I am bored on a bus.

So i have a 7 old female cat that has had a hairball problem ever since i got her from the pound 6 yrs ago. I have tried a few remedies but she still gets them. The last stuff i had her on was working but again, she was still throwing them up but fewer this time. I found this paste worked better than most but was too expensive. So I looked on here and I came across this remedy. I read the reviews, all positive, so i decided to buy it. So you get 60 pills, 2 per day. So i will give her 2 per day and see if these work better than the last stuff I was using. When i first gave her one i had to cut it in 4 quarters. These pills are huge for a cat. If you have a tiger that has a hairball problem, then sure, but for a regular size cat???? So she ate 3 of the 4 quarters and then that was it, she wouldn't eat them any longer. So i decided to pour some water in a small container and then i would put the pill in the water to dissolve. Then I would pour the solution over her cat food. I have to give her wet cat food since she doesn't like to drink water at all. But she eats it all, so it works this way. Regards to these pills stopping her from throwing up hairballs, I will do an update later on. I guess i wanted other consumers to know about soaking it in water to help dissolve the huge size pill to make is easier for their cats to consume. I gave 4 stars and if she doesnt throw up for another month or so.. then i will give it 5 stars.. UPDATE: This stuff really works. Having a cat that use to spew her food all over the place once a week is now only doing it like once every few months. So i tried everything but nothing really worked till i came across this magic pill. i usually just break up a pill into quarters and then throughout the day i will give it to her as treat. i do soak it for about a min under the tap since it is a bit chalky. i fed it to her once without doing so and she threw it up. Not the food.. just the pill. So this stuff works. Believe me. She was throwing up at least once a week and i feed her wet cat food and she would run while she was throwing up.. GGGGross. Not anymore. So after 7 months or more and 5 bottles. I just give her one pill a day now. IT WORKS and she loves the chicken flavor. thanks

I have been using this for a few weeks now and has to stock up as this is an essential supplement I give to my 9 months old kitten everyday. It helps with hairball and digestion and it’s made of natural ingredients so far I have seen really good results and my kitten loves the taste of it. It is almost like a treat for him everyday that’s how good it tastes. The value is so great 180 tablets for $20+!
