Block and blue stone slate like butter 2” thick!
This works like a dream. Buy your self a couple extra arbor in case you get up a little while. They’re inexpensive enough to have a spare on hand

Drilled around 50-70 holes in granite and quartz, better than the $70 bit I usually buy

Not for kitchen countertops
This worked fine for drilling practice holes in to some sample tiles. When I took it to my actual countertop it got to maybe 1/4" before it cracked and shattered.I will not be buying this again.If you're looking to cut holes in thick granite, quartz, concrete etc.. I would recommend getting one of those thinner bits. This one kind of grinds away at the surface, where as a thinner one will actually make a "cut". Those will have much less friction and produce a cleaner cut.
