Hi, what is the depth of this item when folded? Can it fit in a medium suitcase? And is it solid enough to be used outside house?Thank you.

It came with it's own canvass-type holdall zipped carrying bag the dimensions of which are 30"x22"x9". As to outside use. we only bought it for indoors, but it would probably be o.k. on flat, even pavements. I wouldn't use it on anything too rugged. CindyJ
