My favorite lentil soup
I love this lentil soup, and it's usually on here for a much better price than in the grocery store. It's hearty and delicious. Serve over a scoop of rice to add some starch, add some crushed red pepper to kick it up. This is a little higher sodium (still much less than many canned soups), and there is a lower sodium version for those who are sodium sensitive.

Mild hearty soup. Thick consistency.
Came with no dents in half box. Hearty soup. Often I mix it with another vegetable type soup for a change. It is filling on its own. Taste good.

Delicious and filling
It tastes good and is perfect for a cold winter day. Just the right flavor, not bland.

A bit salty.
very tasty. Maybe a little too salty. The one thing that I marked it down for is that the can shows real vegetables. But in the two cans that I’ve had so far there were no vegetables showing it was all broth and some lentils. It looks just like my stuff does when I make a vegetable broth and add the beans a little later and pressure cook. It looks like mine pressure cooked a little bit too much and everything turned to mush, but I’m only in two cans so far.

Great soup, unfortunately 3 cans arrived damaged with dents & bumps
This is a great tasting soup, it's addictive. It's organic and delicious. Unfortunately, right smack in the middle of the package, I got 3 heavily bumped cans with dents on them. They say to never eat anything that's in a bumped can, cancer or something, I don't know. That's what I've heard since I was a kid: if the can is dented, throw it out. Well this soup is expensive, that's 3 cans out of 12 down the hole! :( Otherwise product also arrived extremely hot. I was concerned and I opened a can right away and it smelled of strong (garlic or onion?). But after I warmed it up it seemed fine.I recommend the soup, but I don't know what to tell you about the bumped cans. I haven't even checked the rest I was so disappointed about the dented cans. How's about a refund on those, Amazon?ETA: Found out these cans are BPA lined a toxic carcinogen which releases xenoestrogens into the food when kept in warm warehouse or hot UPS truck. I'm currently detoxing xenoestrogens and see many health problems gone...only to come back whenever I eat anything plastic-laced. :-/

Smells like catfood, but tastes pretty good!
This soup took a while for me to like. - It smells like catfood tbh.I had a hard time with the first few cans and not enjoying it even though I love lentil soup. I was stuck with a case of it and didn twant to waste it.After a few cans, I guess I got use to the taste, and while it stilll smells like catfood to me, it tastes ok to me now. Its become something I look forward to having when Im hungry and my stomach is being a jerk about spicy or heavy stuff. The price is quite crazy for what it is, but I appreciate that its not made from lots of weird crud and its good for me. I just adjust my sodium intake on all my other meals so it balances out.

GREAT FOR EMERGENCY SUPPLY
I LOVE THESE VERY HEALTHY SOUPS. I KEEP SEVERAL CASES THAT I ROTATE THROUGH AS MY AREA HAS SEVERAL POWER OUTAGES IN WINTER AND ALTHOUGH THEY TASTE BETTER WHEN HEATED, THEY ARE TASTY RIGHT OUT OF THE CAN IN AN EMERGENCY.
