Liked it so much, got two more
This shelf system is great. It is very sturdy and helps organize our kitchen shelves. Originally got one for mixing bowls and likewise containers. Was impressed with the look and design, got two more, one for baking ingredients in a smaller cabinet and one for the cooking pans.It is easy to adjust the length of the shelf, and the metal is thick and sturdy. I wouldn't store excessively heavy stuff on them (though I'm not certain what would be that heavy in the kitchen), but everything from food to pots and pans work great. The height would nicely to give you enough room underneath for storage without compromising space up top as well for enclosed use.I would recommend measuring what you want to store (above and below) however, as well as the width you have available to be certain this product will work best for your storage needs.

Did Seville Classics discontinue these shelves and if so why?
I've lost count, but I've bought AT LEAST 8 of this shelf set, 5 of which were on Amazon. I've been trying to buy some more but I can't find them anywhere. They suit multiple tasks perfectly, the width is good, the adjustability is a big bonus, they are stable and easily stand up to heavy kitchen items like stacks of plates. They only have three legs which makes it easier to get things that are stored on the shelf surface as opposed to it all the cheap, flimsy 4 legged messes available on Amazon now. And when I say "cheap", I mean "poorly made" and not "inexpensive" because they want upwards of $30.00 for them!! Yeah, nah. During the first bout of Covid (the one that killed so many) the Seville Classic adjustable shelves were snapped up so fast you couldn't find them "for love nor money", as my grandparents used to say. I put a lot of effort in to find them and finally succeeded but now they aren't even on the Seville Classics website. I don't know if Seville Classics just can't get them anymore or if they decided to snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, but I'm going to wait until they come back before I buy what's available now. If they don't come back, I'll find a carpenter to add more fixed shelves before I'll waste money on a 2nd rate substitute.

Heavy duty and PERFECT for cast iron skillets!
Very sturdy and PERFECT to store my 3 Lodge cast iron skillets! It's like it was made for them. The largest skillet in the holder right now is the 10" (it is also holding a 5" and an 8") but there is plenty of space to put an even larger one in. The skillets stay put without the handle thwumping/rolling over due to the design of the the bottom of the holder. It is also very easy to pull the skillets out as they come straight out (from the side or from the top). What I was using before necessitated storing the pans on an angle due to the sheer size of them so it was a wrestling match to get one out. Please note that these slots are not deep enough to hold the small dutch ovens (2 quart - it "just" misses), and putting a smaller profile cast iron item in would be a waste of space as this has a rather large footprint on the counter. Thinking about the depth of a cast iron skillet will give you a good idea of how big the slots are.I am just so tickled to have finally found something for my heavy cast iron skillets that can be placed next to the stove and can withstand constant use of skillets going in and out daily without any wavering!

Terrible microwave stand, good for everything else.
Pros:- price- sleek look- easy to adjust- sturdy- great for tiny kitchensCons:- two separate shelves- narrow- NOT microwave-friendlyI bought this to use as a microwave stand. I have a tiny kitchen and just don't have a ton of counter space, and someone in the Q&A for this product said it would work for that purpose. So, I purchased it. When I received the shelf, I toyed around with it and the microwave for a while trying to figure out the best solution. It just wasn't going to work for that purpose.First, due to the slatted shelves, it was difficult to get the microwave in a position where it was level and the four rounded "legs" at each corner of the microwave were all positioned on slats.Second, my tiny, college dorm room-sized microwave was too deep for the shallow shelves, so a full-sized microwave would be impossible.Third, the microwave seemed to heavy for the shelves. I could have been imagining it or something, but I just felt like the microwave was going to damage the shelves. In the end, I decided to ditch the microwave and keep the shelves. They work great for holding my coffee and booze accessories as well as other odds and ends. It's not the best product, and I may be biased because I bought it for a purpose for which it was ill-equipped, but it's definitely useful and the price was good.
