RoadPro R-7845 36" Chrome-Plated Steel 5th Wheel Pin Puller, Silver

This is a good-quality item that will probably last a lifetime for the intended purpose.It's strong, heavy for its size, and solidly put together. Even though it's on the longer end of size for tools of this type (most seem to be 32", this one is 36"), it's heavy, and is definitely steel, going by the weight. The two welds are well done and strong. The shaft has an acceptable amount of flex and will bend before it breaks.The only reason for my 4-star rating is that the chrome plating was rubbed through in a couple of spots when I received it. There's a pit/scratch in the chrome on the handle and on the hook, like it may not have been handled with TLC after manufacturing and during shipping.Overall I'm happy with the purchase. It's well-made and will serve for many years if treated right, but at the same time, it's tough and there's no need to baby it. The finish may wear off, but oh well. It's not a tool that's used to having to win beauty contests.As long as it pulls your pin, it works. <<<<That's what she said.

It’s a good tool I used once most newer semi trucks have a switch on the panel to pull the fifth wheel pin. My pin got stuck once and I used the tool it has a perfect reach and is comfortable in the hand. It looks like chrome vanadium but I did not see any chrome peel yet good for the price. I think it will last forever.

My husband uses this everyday at work. It's a back saver. If you are a truck driver I highly recommend it.

I drive RTD for FedEx and I am required to climb up into the back of the trailer to pull the door down, as I am not athletically inclined and have an unreasonable fear of falling, this tool is excellent for reaching the ridiculously short strap on the door without the need to climb all the way up. If for some reason (Heaven forbid) I must climb inside, this tool is strong enough to hook into the slots on the wall of the trailer and haul my ninny self up. If you have an older tractor this obviously works perfectly for the fifth wheel release handle.

I like that the arm is 36"long and it's rugged. Little bit on the heavy side but seems to be well made.

Let me start off by saying I was a little hesitant to order this. You know how it goes, sometimes things are cheaply made, break easily, or just generally not what was expected. This is SO MUCH better than expected. Is solid. It doesn't bend or give when moving heavy (300+lbs) stacks across a poorly tiled floor, and is standing up beautifully to repeat use.

Purchase for friend that a road driver he seems satisfied with this product

I didn’t really need one this long, if I could go back I would have gotten the 24 inch one. Solid product though

Did not realize the length of this Pin Puller. I do not need to reach under the trailer at all to hook the pin like the previous one I had. Even with the long length, it still fits into the boot box on a 2020 Cascadia.
