I have a small gap in my front teeth and the bands will close the gap in a couple hours of wearing them. I don’t wear them for more than a day, I usually do it before an event, pictures, etc. the gap returns just like it would if you don’t wear your retainer. It’s great value, they are thick, and I’ve never had one break on me. The clear you can even see when you wear them.

I am very impressed with these elastics. My orthodontist gives me the ones called Rabbit (I think it's a brand), and I go through them pretty quickly. I'm a teacher, so I can't really avoid talking, but the more I talk, the more quickly I wear through the bands and they break. So I ordered THESE bands when I was running out of the ones my ortho gave me, and I have to say, one set of bands made it all the way through 3 hours of classes! That's a record for me. And when I'm at home, one set will last me most of the day. These definitely have my recommendation!

The bands came in on time right when I needed them. The elastics are slightly more durable than I expected, which was a delightful surprise.

I bought these in hopes of being able to avoid a trip back to my orthodontist's office. Despite buying the exact same size and strength as my regular rubber bands, these elastic rubber bands are not the same. Compared to my regular latex rubber bands, these rubber bands don't provide the same amount of force, despite the fact that they're both supposed to be "heavy" rubber bands. I even compared them to my non-latex rubber bands, which are thinner and a bit more flexible, and these rubber bands weren't as strong as those either. I am so disappointed. I really wanted these to work.Note: I have increased my rating to 3 stars. Although these "heavy" rubber bands aren't as tight as either the heavy latex rubber bands or the heavy non-latex rubber bands that I received from my orthodontist, they seem to be sturdy. They won't break on you.
