LIFETIME 60054 Convertible Bench / Table, Faux Wood Construction

This unit is not overly difficult to assemble (if you take your time and work carefully), and all hardware is included. When assembled, it has great sturdiness, and while it is about 70 pounds, it is very easy to move around on our porch. We do like that the wind will not move it or blow it off the deck. It has the size of about 1/2 of a full-size picnic table and saves room because it can be used to eating like a picnic table of used as a bench. We really like that you do not need to swing your leg over a bench to sit when using it as a table. It looks good, goes together smoothly, and is a great value for the money.

Ok, I'd love to give this bench a 5-star review. There's one small problem and we'll get to it.First, the quality of the materials are GREAT.The finished bench is GREAT (my wife is especially happy with it).The directions were GREAT (much easier than the directions that came with my kitchen blinds).Ease of assembly was GREAT (I was able to move and assemble the entire product by myself, 50 y/o man).See Picture #1 of the finished bench...took less than an hour to assemble and enjoy on our deck.So after all of that I have one small concern and we'll see how the product quality goes when I cancel the makers. My bench had one board that was cracked (see Picture #2 above). The crack is on one of the boards on the back section and goes completely through the board...so the board does shift when you push on it with your finger. I have no doubt the elements will eventually work their magic and this section of the board will break away completely. It is possible that this was due to the s/h of the item and not during the production. No matter, I need a new board (and correct hex wrench to make this replacement). So...now it's off to quality control to see how well this process goes. If all goes well I'll gladly return and give this product 5-stars. If not, I'll lower my rating as the time/money spent would not be a positive experience.

We purchased two of these benches so that we could have a full picnic table.Pros:- sturdy and easily held six adults at once on each side ( three on each bench)- Nice looking wood-like material- easy to spray down with a hose and clean- fairly simple to assemble- Lifetime Products has great customer service based out of Utah- Much nicer than the Costco version of these benches which are made out of molded plastic. If you are on a budget and don't care about the look as much, you can get the Costco ones on sale for $79.99 regularly priced $99.99.Cons:- arrived in very dented boxes and slightly damaged metal frame (Amazon and Lifetime Products customer service helped with this, and we were provided with a discount and a bottle of paint to repair the damage)- A rod was missing from one of our benches, so we could not assemble it at all (again, customer service helped out and Lifetime Products shipped the missing part which arrived three days later)- a bit hot in the sunI definitely recommend these benches, but keep in mind that they may arrive slightly damaged since they are shipped in the original box without an extra layer around them like many other Amazon shipments.
