Good Jeep seat
Looks much better than the seat that was currently in there. It is firm but I like that and way better butt support than my oem seat. Material feels sturdy. Putting the seat together was easy took a little extra time to work the fabric so the bolt holes lined up right. My biggest dislike is the rotary recline adjustment a benefit is it does not have the slop action my original seat had but is slower to tip back or forward for large adjustments. Also the tumble and fold on the passenger side to allow rear access is a little more tricky as I have to pull the lever under the seat and then spin the knob to tip it forward for clearance . But for how rarely someone rides in the rear I think I can live with it.

Far superior to Rugged Ridge XHD
Bought these after buying and returning no less than FOUR Rugged Ridge XHD seats at similar price point (each one had tears, ripped seams, popped springs, you name it). Absolutely no question, the Bestop is the better seat. Fabric is sewn and fitted to the foam very nice and tight. The seams are perfect all the way around. Reclining mechanism is tight with zero play/wobble. No problems mounting with the nicely threaded holes in the frame. The foam is pretty hard, but feeling the exposed foam underneath the seat, looks like they went with a nice dense closed-cell type foam that should be no problem for when the seats get wet. Worlds better than the glorified sponge that the stock seats were. With the necessary seat bracket adapters, these WILL sit about 1" higher than the stock seats in a TJ. That's actually a big negative for me, but it seems to be the same with all aftermarket seats out there. But I also paired it with some Misch Big Boy brackets that seem to mitigate the height problem at least a bit. Still, would buy these seats again without question.

Comfortable seat
Installed in my 1999 Jeep. Relatively easy install with correct adapters. Way more comfy than the 24 year old original seat. Nice and firm and I'm sitting at least 2" higher.

simple install
Perfect fit in my 94 YJ looks great, feels nice, and it took me more ti.e finding tools than it took to install the new seat. It does sit a little higher in the front, so might be an issue for those without tilt steering, but mine is beautiful. We'll have to see how it wears.

3 out of 4 arrived damaged
First off let me say I like the chairs. They are comfortable and seem like normal Bestop quality canvas and feels durable. That being said I have now ordered 4 of these chairs and have yet to get 2 that have not arrived broken. The first 2 I ordered 1 was fine and the 2nd had the bearings bent and broken on the piece that controls the recliner. I sent 1 back thinking It was just bad luck and reordered a 3rd. That one was delayed in shipping and ultimately canceled by Amazon due to "damage" before arriving. Now I have gotten my 4th chair and the fabric on the bottom is torn the bearings on the recliner mechanism aren't as bad as the first but are noticeably coming out.None of the boxes appeared damaged so I don't know where it's happening. Before I order the 5th I will be reaching out to Bestop because at this point I am considering returning the one good one because I can't have seats that don't match and I have already installed the other one. That being said the one I did install lined up perfectly in my YJ and installed on the bestop seat frame and slider. Will update after discussing with Bestop

Awesome chair and works with a Chevrolet seat mount.
Pretty straight forward but I have a Chevy Express 3500 and this fit it perfectly. It has three different mounting positions and went in really easy. My only issue was the apolestry isn't mounted next too the bolts that hold the top and bottom together. This meant it got in the way and I hate to tear it out a bit to realign with the hole. Very small tear that cannot be seen outside the hole. Retrospectively I should have put double-sided tape and aligned the apolestry first before attempting to bolt it into place.

Good seat, assembly could have been better thought out.
Seat quality is good. They feel well made and are comfortable. Down side is the instructions and assembly. Instructions are a joke. May as well saved money on the paper and printing and just sent the product. Although the assembly is pretty straight forward, the vinyl is isn’t secure/fastened to where the back rest and seat bolt together. The vinyl slips down and gets in the way of the bolt holes and gets damaged easily where the two pieces bolt together. This may cause larger tears as the seat ages and wears. Need two people to accomplish putting these together.

Good Seats, Feel Great Not Bad on the Install
I have a 1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ.......I bought these seats to match the Bestop back seat I bought (Black Denim) that has a head rest for safety for the Kidos when we are riding. The seats are great, I had no problem getting the fixation holes to line up using the original screws that are tucked up between the sliding rails. It is a little difficult to get access to screws to get the old seats out but once out its pretty easy. I would recommend NOT assembling the back to the base prior to you attempting to install......it just adds more weight to manage and based on the platform angle, can continue to "rock back" while your trying to hold the base so the holes line up. My suggestion for putting the back on is to place the seat back on the base (once securely bolted to the mounting platform) use a smaller size Philips screwdriver and slowly work the seat back down till you can use the screwdriver to find the side mounting hole. Once you do, if the screw drive is just small than the hole, you can use it to hold it in place while you put one of the screws in on that side.....just repeat on the other side and your done.
