Pair of Straight Aluminum 5” 11 Louver Hood Panels (Bolt-On) Kit

Great build quality and the same thickness as my cars hood. Includes nuts and bolts and they even sent me a full 2nd pack of hardware when I had an issue with the locknuts not screwing down all the way. They had discovered the problem at the same time and switched vendors.MY2Cents: Ibought some High Temperature satin Black spray paint and some stainless steel screen material to keep large debris from going into the vents at the hardware store along with 3M 1" wide double face tape to secure the screen in place and to make a good seal to the hood, it turned out great, don't forget to paint the raw edges of your hole cuts. They look awesome too!

I really liked the look of these louvers on my ZJ. Be prepared though, your hood has channels and extra bits of metal underneath that you don't see until you cut the wholes. So I went with rivets instead of using the supplied bolts. Still super easy to install.

The vents are well made. Don’t waste your time with the hardware that it comes with. The price could be dropped 15 dollars

These look great and are very high quality. I have them on my 04 Chevy Blazer ZR2. These helped keep the temps down so I would not over heat. *I painted mine black to match *Highly recommend them.

Mounted them, they look great! But if you take your car to the shop and you mechanic runs the stock number there going to read as A/C vents and there going to look at your stupid lol

I'm currently in the middle of installing 4 of these louvers and stopped to take time to write this review. I don't even have 2 completely bolted in yet and 4 bolts/nuts have striped halfway being tightened and are stuck! A 5th bolt/nut striped but I was able to back that one off as soon as I could tell it was getting tight/striping. The only way to get the other 4 off is to cut them and guess what? THERE'S NOT ENOUGH SPACE TO GET IN THERE AND CUT THEM OFF! Now I'm screwed because I have 4 loose nuts/bolts and no way to remove them. Now I have to go get my own hardware which is going to cost me more money PLUS the included bolts are TO LONG!Literally HALF of the hardware I got was junk, 22 good and 22 bad. I installed the nuts to test them and the bag on left shows what good ones were left, the bag on the right shows all the bad ones. As you can see the bad ones most striped before the nut was even half way on. At that point they won't back off, they just strip worse and the allen head then starts to round/strip itself.

These aren't a bad item at all. I'm building a rat rod style truck and wanted to put these on the hood. They do come with nice hardware to install them, but I may just use rivets.

Easy install, lets out a lot of heat.
