Switched all overhead lights in my garage to LED. The loft area was a challenge as I wanted more light than I had with existing UV lamp fixture, but didn’t want to have to extend the circuit. These connectable LEDs were the fix I needed. Install was not difficult, just 4 stars because the keyholes assume flush mount on a surface ~3 in wide. I needed to mount on center joist that wasn’t that wide. I cut 2 pieces of wood to cross the joist which was fine, but an unnecessary step in my mind. A center single hole would have been nice. I could have just drilled straight through, but didn’t want to risk damaging the metal.Best feature is the cord to direct connect additional fixture. No need to continue a wired circuit, just plug in connector and done.I forgot to take a picture with old light, but did take one with ambient light to compare with brightness of the new lights. I can see all they way down now where previously I could not.

I only installed one of these fixtures in a bathroom to replace an overhead fluorescent 48" 2-bulb fixture. The 5K color is excellent, high-quality light that mimics daylight. The fixture was easy to install and has ample knock-outs to route the incoming wire to feed the fixture. If I'm in the market for more overhead fixtures, which I may be in the near future, this will be my top choice. Note: This fixture is not set up with hangers or chains to be a drop-down (from the ceiling) light. This fixture is designed to be surface-mounted to the ceiling. Note2: To those of you who keep asking if it includes bulbs, LED light fixtures DO NOT have replaceable bulbs like a fluorescent fixture does. The LEDs themselves are miniature bulbs and there is a double row of them mounted inside this light fixture. They are not designed to be replaceable, although I suppose you could if you're handy with electrical projects. LEDs last MUCH longer than any fluorescent bulb and most are warrantied for around 50,000 hours.

I bought this for my garage, 2 car. My old one had pulled loose from the ceiling, and while I was trying to figure outhow to hang it back up it fell down and broke the bulbs. This gave me the opportunity to buy a new, LED light. I am very happy with this light. It has two rows of LEDs running the full length of the light. It gives off plenty of light for a standard size garage. I mounted it to the electrical box, which was possible due to the light weight of the unit. I was shorted a screw for this type of installation, but I found two longer screws to use. I have found that using longer screws makes the job easier when mounting a fixture to the electrical box. You have several options for mounting the light and it seems well designed. I am very satisfied.

So far I've ordered 3 of these. The first one was shipped in just the flimsy cardboard box that the manufacture packages the product. This did not protect it during shipment, and it was bent a little in the middle. I was able to unbend it to the point that it is usable, but there is still a small ding if you look for it. The second one I ordered was better packed in a shipping carton with padding, but unfortunately, this one had a ding and marred paint that looks like it happened during manufacturing. That one was returned. The third one ordered was also shipped in its flimsy box but that one managed to survive the trip unscathed. The light itself is quite bright, looks good, and is well designed. The light is neutral in color. Definitely not warm, but not blueish either. The thin steel construction is a bit flimsy, which is probably why they get damaged so easily, but on most ceilings that wouldn't be a problem. If you are installing this anywhere where it might be bumped into, seek out a sturdier light. These can either interconnect touching end to end with a short rigid connector, or further apart using the supplied 5 foot cord. There is no wall plug with this light. It is meant to be hard wired.

Use these in a storage room and they're great! Installation is super easy- hook up basic wires and just use some drywall screws. They are so lightweight that I didn't feel drywall anchors were necessary- like really light weight. But they put out a great amount of light. I had one dim LED bulb that put out hardly any light. This solved the problem. Wire in the first one. Attach the linking cable. Screw in the second one and you're done with no wiring to run through ceilings.

Good replacement for old fluorescent fixture. Easy 10 minute install, you do not need to remove an end cap to remove the lens for installation.

Installed in 5 minutesHas punch out holes only on back however you can drill holes on side and place romex connector for entry of 12-2 wire. Very bright, lights up entire garage. Easy to wire and runs fairly cool.Great value for the money. Good product.

We had a standard florescent bulb set up in the closet and the balest was going out. I decided to replace with this bad boy. Holy crap its freaking bright. Now I see all the clothes my wife has hanging on her side (pretty much the whole) closet. I am now making her get rid of some of the stuff she has not worn in forever. So basically this thing has made me sleep on the couch a few nights.Update: I have added a photo so you can see the thing is 5 1/2" wide. I have also put two up in my garage and gotten rid of the fluorescents that were hanging over my head. Now if one of these falls it won't bash my brains out. In other words, they are a lite light.....Boom that's comedy folks..
