Decent Buy!
Came clean no bends or discoloration like other reviews i saw. I ordered the light colored non painted leather then i painted a reddish brown to match my studs coat color. The leather was clean and took paint well with no primer. Horse is 16hands. The plate screws were loose and needed to be tightened. The screws also protruded a bit on the inside could be irritating if you have a horse as sensitive around the face as mine. The spring in the bolt snap was a tad bit stiff needs a little grease. All in all decent purchase.

Good beginner halter
It's a good beginner halter for those starting showing, but the metal does catch on stuff and bends. So it may last us one more year but its done the job I bought it for.

Screw snapped- junk
Couldn’t even use it, screw snapped when gently trying to unflatten nosepiece.

Good starter show halter
I got this as a starter show halter because it looks nice and is affordable. I have an Appendix and it was too small for him. I waited too long to return so I ended up just reselling it myself.
