Ever since the first time I drove a Bobcat I’ve been fascinated with them. When I saw this one I thought it would be a great way to discover actual hydraulic models and have a bit of fun as well. It turns out that I was right on both counts.The item arrived ahead of schedule (although DHL was supposed to wait for a signature - they didn’t) and was well packed. A quick charge of the battery and everything functioned as advertised. Being a senior citizen I found it difficult to drive using the two thumb wheels so after a bit of web browsing I learned how to reprogram using the left stick for driving and the right stick for bucket control. Being able to have the pump turn on only when using the right stick helps increase battery life. This model is a serious scale model and will perform identically to the full size unit.A word about Toucan Hobbies. They contacted me immediately after I placed my order, and informed me that the green and white model would not be available for some time, and offered me the red and white one. I accepted this and they notified me of every step of the shipping process. They answered every question I asked, and because of this I had a great deal of comfort with this transaction.
