Air intake hose 2000 Toyota Camry LE 5S-FE engine
Old air intake hose has a big crack on the lip where it connects to the throttle and some part showing excessive wear especially on areas where the hose is bent. I notice the existing hose is somewhat hard rubber its flexible but wont just easily bent or bounce. This new air intake hose is exact fit except for the material where i believe is to flexible/rubbery. Perhaps when it gets exposed to the everyday use and heat of the vehicle engine the material of the hose will become somewhat like the OE i just took out.Overall i am satisfied. I didn't reuse the existing hose clips (OEM) and decided to use the adjustable lock hose retainers that came with it. I struggle a bit putting both ends (throttle and air cleaner port) and had to apply a few amount of soapy water to help the process.
