Honestly really good
Be sure to look up how to get the candy to the hard crack stage. We used a bowl of cold water because our thermometer arrived broken. They turned out great and took about an hour total with prep. We boiled the apples first so that the wax could be wiped off (otherwise the candy will fall right off). They were fairly easy you need some sugar and water but that’s about it. I will be buying this kit again. We made 6 apples and double coated them. You could certainly make more apples with this one kit

Haven't used yet
I've used the brand before and was easy to use. Can't find in the grocery stores any more where it was cheaper. I doubt if I will be ordering again.

tasteless & not worth the work
If you don't have a candy thermometer, theres just no use in trying. Even with a candy thermometer, the taste is just so not even worth the effort! There are far better tasting and easier options out there. Don't bother.

Messy but good
The candy is not easy to work with and it messy. The directions can be improved. So that is the why I gave it three stars. The candy looks like the picture on the box if you floow the instructions. Not the bad for the price and the quality of the candy is pertty good. If not mixted correctly the candy will have a gritty texture. The size of the apples you choose to use will determine how many candy apple you can make. I had to use two coats of candy to get my apples to look like the apple that is pictured on the box.
