I've struggled with stomach issues on and off over the last 15 years, mainly diarrhea but sometimes cramps, discomfort, and nausea too. I would usually be okay if I avoided fried foods or too much dairy but over the last year it started getting worse again. Every time I would go out for a walk I always made sure there was a bathroom nearby since I never know what could trigger it. It was embarrassing. I talked to my doctor and after blood tests and stool tests were all normal as they had been in the past, my doctor referred me to a gastroenterologist who suggested I try Align. I don't think it has "cured" me completely but it has definitely reduced how often I get diarrhea; and even if I do get diarrhea it isn't as uncomfortable as it used to be and I don't get any more than 1 or 2 episodes of diarrhea in a given day. I do still get diarrhea 1 or 2 times a month but it is not so bad. I've been taking it for about 8 months. Align is not a cure all for IBS issues but it certainly does help a lot.

have been using this on and off for years, really works

I called the company because I noticed that this product’s new dose is 10mg, when it used to be 4 mg. Also it’s no longer packaged in the Monday-Sunday blister pack. I once tried their Pro formula which is 20 mg. and I did not do well with it, so I was hesitant to try this new 10mg. dose. I was told that they have a new distributor, and I will still get the recommended amount of this strain of probiotic, but the dose is a little stronger. I decided to try it, and I did do well with it after taking it daily for a few days. I wonder if the new distributor is unable to make the blister packs? Align has stated that the blister packs keep the capsule potent. Maybe that’s why they increased the dose, because it loses some potency in the plastic bottle? I don’t know, but I’m happy it’s still working for me!

I liked that it was delivered to my home, less expensive than a retail store and it’s exactly the same product.

This was recommended to me by a friend that works at a GI doctor’s office. It is the best probiotic ever! If I skip it a day, I can tell a difference. Do not buy the generic brand if this, only the original al works, at least for me!
